3 Day Tuna (again)

Hey guys,

Sorry guys, no diet subforum at the moment so....

I'm thinking of giving this a go next week.

Is everybody just strictly using plain tuna in springwater?

There are some options for flavoured tunas like lemon and cracked pepper that have some negligible carb values in them (like 3g), I assume these are okay? Obviously the cans of sweet chilli tuna with 15g of sugar are no go lol.

And what about options in olive oil? Again, some negligible (good) fat content.

Just check the labels....I will usually run the pouches of regular tuna. I've added a small dab of yellow mustard occasionally. Good luck! Figure at least 1.5 gm protein per pound (bodyweight). Some say 2 gm per pound. I usually end up around 18 pouches a day.

watch these because the more spice and flavor you have the HUGE amounts of sodium... you need to stick with tuna in water and low sodium... otherwise your will retain a shitload of water and look like shit and defeat the purpose.. I buy these 50 at a time.. i have one a day... http://chickenofthesea.com/products/tuna/chunk-light-tuna-in-water-50-low-sodium

best damn tuna you can find in a can and best for you...

also, there are not going to be all of these scattered sub forums anymore so feel free to post everything in this section

Cool, thanks very much guys. Yeah, I need to be more aware of sodium values so probably easiest to go with the plain tuna pouches.

Just comparing the sodium in the brand I plan on buying here in Australia, it's double what Chicken of the Sea has so I might have to shop around a bit more.

As tough as I think this is going to be, I am so excited not to have to do food prep this weekend or dishes for three days!!!

yes bro... you always want tuna in water and you want to find the lowest sodium possible... not all pouches ensure low sodium either... there are all pretty much the same... just look for LOW SODIUM labels... its hard for me to say where in australia to get them but im sure you can order online as well...

Thanks again Dylan. I'll definitely have to do some more research because most of the pouches seem quite high in sodium comparatively now that I look into it. I guess they are prob not expecting people to eat 16 packs a day lol.

There's probably an online solution where I can just get a crate of some good low sodium stuff.

im sure there is... i'll try to look but shipping to australia is probably something you would be better at finding than me but im certain there is someway to do it whether ebay or amazon or something... whatever i can do to help... trust me, sodium is one thing often overlooked and misunderstood... anything canned needs to say LOW sodium, not reduced... reduced generally is not very much of anything but low is always where you want it...

Look bro...you will be eating tuna and water for 3 days. You will be down in the trenches with only yourself to pull you out. When this 3 days is over you will see what you are made of. Expect to loose 3 lbs of fat per day. Lemon juice, lime juice...don't spoil your sad little self ok? Make your sad little self step up to the plate and get on track for some killer definition. After this you may not ever be your sad little self again. You may become the guy who takes control of his life. Go for it!! WTF is 3 days in your life??????

Sorry did not read anything else. It is only 3 days for lords' sake.Didn't realize that 3 days of sodium in tuna would be so devasting. Best to do the diet and see how it goes. My god..lots of sensitive nips

Lolll okay bro... Calling someone sad for trying to help not overload on sodium... Not really expected coming from you but nothing is surprising... Enjoy your evening

Okay, so for any other Aussies out there, I've looked at a bunch of nutritional panels online and looks like Sirena brand tuna in springwater is the best option.

The sodium content is 162mg / 100g which is the lowest I've seen. It's still not as low as Chicken of the Sea but the protein content is double that so you don't need to eat as much to get the daily protein requirement so it probably balances out.

At 26g protein per 100g, 1000g to make up say 260g protein day. That makes the sodium for that day 1620mg which seems pretty reasonable.

And LOL, I think Jake was basically telling me to stop being a pussy, man up and don't worry about a bit of cracked pepper. Probably intended to quote my post not yours Dylan.

Oh that would make more sense then because that doesnt sound like him...

That looks like a much better option bro... You can definitely do this and will see great results

Hopefully had a couple drinks and went to bed hahaha. Don't worry Jake we still love you brother.

Sorry for the confusion. I do not not partake into anything mind altering but I did work a greusome 15 hour day. Bedtime for me is is 9pm. My point was that we feel sad for ourselves and we should not. The tuna diet can help us shift mentally. I just am half asleep. I should not not be posting at at all here because it becomes stressfull and in reality it brings nothing to the table for me. Dylan will take care of you. You do not not need me, as there are tons of good guys here. I have to get back to the grind of running 2 businesses, so good luck guys.I will check in when I can. My hours are 4 a.m to 6pm ,then rest, workout and snooze.Love you all!

Pretty sure Dylan debunked the whole mercury thing in the previous thread on AR. Most tuna comes well within the acceptable guidelines even if you eat six cans of it a day. It's only three days.

And in the meantime I'll keep pinning hormones dissolved oil and taking toxic methylated orals roflmao
