Thoughts on steak...

Bro I love the way you think, but it'll kill my bf eventually. Who the hell would've thought at my age I'd be concerned w/ bf? WTH...

Bro the most ripped up, towed up, shred up, I get is from steak and eggs.I have not done it in a long time, as today I like to kickstart a tuna and water regimen and then add carbs to hit about 70 grams. However if you love steak that much then the steak and eggs diet will rip you up quicker than any other.

Nothing makes me feel more like a man that a big hearty steak. Packing with protein, iron and all that fat. Tearing it between my teeth like some primitive Neanderthal. LOL.

Back in the day remember, steak and eggs was the staple. See Jake's link.

While I do like it, I'm much more of a lean beef mince kind of guy though, when staying somewhat healthy and on diet.

Red meat is just in and of itself though, something that is just irreplaceable. Nothing quite compares. I couldn't imagine not eating it.

In mushroom sauce with pasta. Or a big juicy steak burger. Some things in life just have to be indulged, I tells ya.

I think the main thing you'll find is that, when on any type of high protein diet, that trying to involve steak regularly gets MIGHTY expensive MIGHTY quick.

Cost is definitely what stops me from indulging often over any ill health benefits.

I have two filet mignons a month... I ALWAYS have the mushrooms and sauce on top... Im not sure if you have had steak deburgo but its so ridiculous... generally we just do a white wine sauce with mushrooms but you can take it a nice step further, which it sounds like you might... thats excellent... i love it medium rare, but pretty damn pink... this Sunday is one of my steak nights... =)

That's exactly what I do! :D Must be the European coming out of us with these sauces. Medium rare is the ONLY way for sure.

That same sauce - if I make too much - I also brown some cut up chicken in a pan, mix in some spaghetti, then throw it all in the oven with some basil and parmesan cheese. Makes an epic quick pasta bake, like a cheat Spaghetti Tetrazinni.

I like that bro, i like that a lot... very creative and sounds damn good... absolutely its a European thing... i love it

kobe beef is the sh**, so tender and moist, just melts in your mouth. (not the "kobe style beef" sold in the U.S.) the marbling is superior to most meats and trimmed correctly, nothing looks or tastes better. (my humble opinion)

NICE! I remember the old days of grilling... its been so long man... i remember the iowa corn and steak on the grill... i bet that was a great meal

Went to HEB today and walked right past the steaks at the butchers shop... eyeballs were locked in on the different cuts. I almost said eff it and bought some, but my will power stayed intact by a thread. Being irritated my son hit the curb and slashed one of his Z rated tires probably helped to keep my mind of the steaks lol. Bought 2 new tires for the front of his car and let him know next mishap was outta his pocket. I got gear to buy lol...

U have SaltLick BBQ near you??

no saltlick, but similar. Squeal, The Shed, The Joint, and Hillbilly bbq. Pops does not eat anything that he does not fix himself. If I go to hillbilly they just give me a whole chicken, and half a brisket grilled with only oak, pecan, and some mesquite. No rubs, no sauces.

And now that Ive seen that Ill go put my 8 oz chicken breast and steamed broccoli in the microwave and cry a little
