Thoughts on steak...

Been smashin seasoned ribyes from the local meat store. I do try use leaner meats like chicken and turkey as much as possible. But i eat steak 2-3 times a week.
 
I don't see how you do it bro... my mind frame was as long as I work out as hard as I do I deserve to be able to eat what I choose, but alas it took it's toll on my midsection. My son would say stuff like 'You're the swole guy with a gut dad', or 'abs on strike again?'... teens are harsh lol. My favorite restaurant is Chauma Guacha Brazilian Steakhouse... I eat nothing but meats there. Gawd this is awful. Now that my wife is embracing the gym I can get away with cooking healthier, son will be in college in a few months so there's nothing to hold us back. I'm getting tired of being the dude with a tight stomach, but always looking like I'm on a bulk.
I have "ab-bitions" (ambitions) though. Wanna be able to peel off the tee and put 20 year olds to shame with more than just sheer mass.

I almost overdosed on meat in the Brazilian steak house. Almost wheeled out. I puked all over some ones car after outside since I couldn't hold it down. Went back inside like nothing happened and ate some more. 8 steaks total
 
Right now I've been doing one steak meal per week, but it's a good one when I do.

I go for a nice flavorful, but not-so-lean 12 oz Ribeye

Nothing wrong with steak. Just look up the nutritional information for the certain cut you're having that day and the amount and log it. Adjust the rest of your fat intake accordingly for the day.

Would I recommend getting the majority of your fat on a daily basis from fatty cuts of red meat? Absolutely not. In moderation? Absolutely!

I love steak.All different cuts.Im on keto so I basically just eat protein & fat.
You just have to make sure to take some physillium husk & leafy greens,cause mounds of beef are hard to digest without them.

Yeah so I fucked up and ate a steak today. It was in my fridge in a ziplock all seasoned so I had no choice lol... 1.5" of glorified Angus beef aka "Marbled Madness". It'll be my last one for two weeks though eating a steak, or two every day Saturday thru Wednesday is over kill. I think in total I had 10 steaks in a seven day span, five in a row starting Saturday. Bad part was I left my car keys in the wifes car so I couldn't hit the gym today. When my son came home I went to pick up some blinds I ordered and then baked some chicken for dinner... was good, but sure the hell wasn't a steak. I can literally taste steak in my burps today... and they taste awesome. Damn my will power is p_ _ _y when it comes to them things!

Nothing feels more "right" to my body than steak. I just feel better, healthier, more energetic when I eat steak. No other meat does this for me. Only beef.
