I got their ginger dressing with spinach and man ill tell you im not a big fan of it lol so I have been mixing olive oil with minced garlic and vinegar

There chipolte ranch is good and the ceaser is ok if you add salt and garlic and the pancake syrup taste good everything else tatse like shit. When you use olive oil make your salad in a freezer bag so you can put one tbs in shake the fuck out of it and your salad will be covered without using too much

good idea I have used mason jars in the past as well.
 
Saltlick has some decent steaks. Myron's in New Braunfels, J-Prime in SATX.... I know where every morsel of steak is served best. Z- Tejas (when it was open) at La Cantera ONCE served a delectable morsel of steak rare blue... literally melted in my mouth. Went back twice for the steak and they screwed it up both times. Guess that's why their doors are no longer open. Fuckin up the steak....
Now if only Joe's Crab Shack and a steak joint merged... I'd literally be in shangri-la.

Bison is good AF... I went to HEB and just looked at the steaks today. Almost said fuckit, opted for fish instead. Almost as depressing as that picture of chicken and vegi's above. ^^^^ That would piss me off. Lol...gotta liven it up Mutant! Get som thermogenic sauce on that! aka Siracha!

I'm a steak man my self and love a nice lean cut with 2 fried eggs on top but only on leg or back day! No more thick cut portions with fat.... I must grow as clean mean and as lean as possible!
I'm loving the taste of Sarms kind of sweet!
 
I love steaks. Porterhouse, Filet Mignon, NY Strip, T-Bone... steak in general. As long as it it's a marbleized, thick cut of beef cooked just right I love steaks. Here's why I ask about steaks though. Every day since this past Saturday I have either ate one for dinner, or as a post workout meal. How bad is this? Is it even a bad thing at all? I'm going to slow it down to like 1x a week just because I've gone steak crazy for a minute. I think i ate steak 2x last week and despite the fact I never tire of steaks, my family does (hence the post workout meal vs dinner). Normally I enjoy a lot of turkey and chicken, but steak is on the top of my fav's. Beef is the best form of protein after all, so how often should I be able to get away with a steak???

I had the best blood panel ever in terms of lipids and testosterone when increasing my red meat intake to at least 3x per week and having a drink per day. Stayed decently lean when training hard. The real risk is in processed carbs. If you are competing or trying to stay as lean and jacked as some of the folks on this forum - probably worth limiting - but steaks are far better for you than, let's say, cake or donuts.

i was intrigued with your post until i got to the last sentence... NO SHIT its better than cake or donuts LOL... i AM intrigued by the fact your panels were great eating that way and having a drink but that does not work for everyone... i know if i ate red meat three times a week, i would not be happy with the way i looked.. ive been there before... things effect people far different... i have encountered others though who swear by red meat to shred up or look and feel great so i do believe there is some merit there, yes... thanks for posting the experience...

Sugar is the worst for sure, but I get a little puffy from red meat. I eat it maybe 2-3 times per year. I have found that when you lay off of it you just feel better. So that would be a cheat meal for me.

I have used it in the past for keto cutting and it works for sure. But man you get tired of it really quick. Most guys say they feel stronger on it, but I don't.
I am glad that I am not the only one that feels the same way that you do. Big burly jake must eat cows everyday...hear it all the time!

LOLLL you and i see eye to eye on pretty much everything if you havent noticed! =) im like you... i will admit, i do love steak, well, not all steak but i do love a good filet for sure... i mean, who doesnt and it does make you feel strong for sure but i know first hand what happens to me personally if i eat it often and its not good... i do twice a month or something or even less lately... ive been mixing in more pork tenderloin and i like to throw in veal scalopini... the very very lean cuts... just for some different options... i have ground chicken 7 days a week... organic from whole foods.. thats my go to but i do like some variety which is just not the easiest when your trying to maintain year round... its all trial and error.. some things work and others do not but these are working great for me thus far...
 
This thread is like the ultimate troll while I'm sitting down to boring bland chicken breast and brown rice at the moment. LOL.
 
Back in the day it was thought there could be no gains without beef. There were no good protein powders, and no supps of protein. I could cut up really well on steak,eggs,cheese and nuts. Today I eat very little red meat simply because it is constipating.With constipation comes bloating, and I no longer think of red meat as the only anabolic food. We now know that fish and eggwhite are superior in digestibility
