Russdog's sustanon cut log

Goal today... Drink 2 gallons of water and keep calories to 2000

Do you not think your caloric intake is a little low at your current body weight as it only works out at around 7 x your current body weight (assuming 280), realistically you are going to need somewhere between 1120 and 1680 kcals per day (1 to 1.5 g per pound of body weight) from protein alone which doesn't leave a lot of room for fats and carbs. I say this as for me 2k at 180 I would lose in excess of 1 lb per week at ~12% bf

How much are you losing per week?

I would have thought it would have been a lot higher than 1.5 per week as 2000 kcals seems very low for someone at 280, how often are you training?

This is exactly why I personally recommend calculating protein requirements based on LMB rather than total weight. I know some may disagree as a lot keep their protein even higher during cuts.

I don't disagree particularly when body fat is in single digits but we are talking about someone with 20%+ body fat so there should be more room for increasing protein to try and minimise muscle loss when they intend on losing 4/5 lbs per week but it maybe not when consuming calories at 7 x body weight. For me the higher the protein intake the more I can cut calories due to satiation.

This is a mess bro. Its not just calories. Its knowing ur bmr. And your adjusted bmr based on activity. What to eat and when to eat it.

Just giving my opinion here but I will not be following this thread. (actually I probably will take a peek every now and then) and here's why:

I've been on boards with RussDog before and it's the same thing every time. He starts a thread saying he's going to cut down his bf%, then posts pics of his navy seal card, then changes the cycle about 3 times, posts countless pictures with no progress, and then never finished the log.

Not trying to be an asshole, but just giving you guys my experience with him. I know a lot of you guys on here spend a lot of time trying to help these guys through their cycle and RussDog is a mess. Plain and simple. Just wait and see.

Yes it id a vicious circle he is in every place he goes

I hate to say it but I agree. Save that sweet delicious gear until you drop that BF to AT LEAST -13-14%! You can do this with diet and hard work. Phurious rocks but this is just unadvisable.

Question people: I still plan to do an 8 week pre cut before I start my cycle. During the 8 weeks I am going to keep the carbs low and get into running, actual running shape. It will suck but if I can cut 15-20 pounds of brute mass I will start my cycle after the 8 weeks. I agree with you guys completely cutting carbs is not healthy. During my cycle I plan on moving my daily run a half mile every 3.5 weeks. Along with bodybuilding training, I will make my 17% bf after a 14 week cycle instead of 12. Right now I can run 2 miles after doing my usual weight workout. If I can get to 4 miles after the initial period, I will be at 6 miles at the end. There is a great possibility I can even reach 15%bf. Fuck that I have dropped 40lbs during boot camp after only 8 weeks. My question what the fuck are you guys talking about doing Navy boot camp juiced up would be a hell of a lot easier than the way I had to do it.

Because it would be easier. But you can't do boot camp on gear as you know.
