MrChristian's First Cycle Log

MrChristian said:
I thought I would include a breakdown of my daily diet, in case anyone is following this and has interest. I'm also open to critique and feedback, as always.

This is the diet which I go by every day that I'm lifting. I use a different diet on cardio & rest days. I will be adjusting this diet little-by-little as my weight changes over the next few months.

What's not on here is the amount of water I drink every day, which is probably around 1 gallon. I keep a jug at my desk at work and just drink it all day long. Other than water, I have 1 cup of black coffee first thing in the morning.

^^ Impressive !

Dude you're making my brain hurt... Lol...

bro I LOVE IT... seriously... i was laughing to myself because you even had the egg white right down to the T and your right on the money... 17 per each white.. LOVE IT... I MUST give you a hard time about something... I showed my wife because i wanted her to see how organized you were and the first thing she points out is that you put 1 sliceS of toast... i said, "give the guy a fucking break, look how on this he is" but she wanted to give you a hard time about it... LOLL then i say " as organized as he is, he overlooked that!" LOLLL just giving you a hard time... you are really on top of this and it makes me REALLY PROUD to see man... seriously...

I would like to see you add a little variety on alternating days with your meats... some days add fish, try some very lean cut veal medallions, lean pork tenderloin etc.. LOVE that you have the tuna and peas meal in there... looks similar to mine... nice addition with the quinoa... look at some plain greek yogurt on some of your days etc.. Diet looks VERY STRONG though right now... just a few things to consider

Ha!! You guys are catching my typos. I should hire you as my copy editors. ;) Yea, I originally had that as "2 slices", but eventually changed it to 1 and forgot to remove the "s". I also accidentally put 2 instances of "5g creatine" in there. In reality I'm only taking creatine once per day, before my workout.

Oooo...pork tenderloin sounds great! And I've never tried veal. Time for me to branch out a bit. Sounds like a plan! Thanks for the great advice.

yes, lean pork tenderloin is literally only 130-140 calories per 4 oz. little to no fat and HIGH in protein... same with the veal medallions... there's obviously more fat in steak and venison but you do need those in there once in a while as well... also, 96-97% lean ground beef or turkey... jenni-o makes a very high quality fat free ground turkey... these are all really good options just to keep the variety and your body guessing... make sure if you buy veal that you get the medallions that are extremely lean etc...

Very impressed with your layout Christian. Going to steal some of your nutrition information.

And semi off topic on this thread but I have to ask. What's some good things to do with ground turkey?

This is what I personally do with ground turkey. And as Dylan mentioned, I go with the Jenny-O lean ground turkey.

Turkey Meatloaf
2 pounds lean ground turkey
1 cup all natural mild salsa
1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt
Ground black pepper (to taste)
Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Preheat oven to 375 F
Combine turkey, salsa, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper in large bowl
Press mixture into 9x5 loaf pan,or form into shape of a loaf and place on ungreased 13x9x2 inch baking pan
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until center is no longer pink and meat is cooked through.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 8 slices and serve garnished with parsley.

that's definitely a good meal addition and it sounds damn good... im a big fan of meatloaf, always have been but rarely if ever eat it and when i do, its generally turkey loaf and this is a fine example of a very healthy selection! nice work bro

Mel here. Hope you're having a great weekend. The cycle that Dylan and Rick recommended for me to run is similar to yours and I was hoping if you could please assist me with a few questions.

1. When you placed your order, did the syringes and needles come along with them?
2. What was your total cost so I could prepare myself with the budget?

I see and am happy to hear about your results!. You seem to be killing it..

Hey brother, when you order gear you only get the gear. You.l have to purchase syringes and needles separately. There are a number of places online you can purchase them and they are pretty inexpensive. I use www.gpzservices.com myself.

Cost is going to vary depending on the source you use and what exactly your cycle entails. It's probably not best to talk about cost and prices, etc in the open forum. You can get price lists from any of the sponsors here by contacting them. If you need a price list for a Biotech let me know and I'll get you one

Ah crap!. I apologize for my mistake Rick. I won't let it happen again. Cool. I sent you a PM but am not sure you received it.

No apology necessary my friend! I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have and I'll be addressing your PM soon brother

Week 2 : Day 2 Update

Had a great workout today. It was a tempo chest and triceps workout which I hadn't done before. I had plenty of energy and felt great the whole time. Seems like things are starting to kick in nicely with the cycle. Or maybe it's all just in my head. LOL Whatever the case, it was a great workout.

This is day 2 of the higher 75mg tbol dose. I don't know if this is related, but I have felt kinda flushed and a bit red in the face over the past two days. I'll check my blood pressure again tomorrow morning to see if it's elevated.

I went shopping at my local grocery store this weekend and tried find lean pork tenderloins and veal medallions. The store didn't have those, so I'm going to check out of a few different local meat places here in my town. Do you guys have any good recipes for cooking this stuff? I'm mostly a "BBQ guy", so unless it involves tossing a piece of meat on fire in my back yard, I'm kinda lost. Any recommendations are welcome!

I've felt flushed and red in my face the entire cycle. Some days more than others... I've even had people comment how red my face is... I just tell them I got too much sun...lol

I just figured it comes with the territory.
I'm going to start giving blood... I've read that it helps some...

Get it brother! You're all over this!. Im a BBQ type also so I'm not very helpful on recipes but just wanted to say Great Job!

hey bro... the veal is in the meat section but its hit and miss on who has it... it depends on what area of the u.s. you are in for me to tell you the grocery but whole foods should always have it... with the veal, a lemon sauce with parsley and capers is excellent along with some veggies... the restaurant way would be a piccata or butter and lemon sauce... also parmesan but for us on a healthier diet, just the lemon squeezed alone... BE VERY CAREFUL to not overcook the veal... they are very lean cuts and cook very quickly... you do not want to overcook or it ruins it... in a very bad way so keep an eye on that... i cook on the stove top in olive oil spray... if you cook in the oven, 350 for 4-5 minutes tops

the pork loin should be everywhere especially like sams club or costco but is VERY lean... wal mart also has it and their meat is actually very high quality... i generally just add some garlic and herb spice to mine and i like to chop it into stripes or squares mixed in with a vegetable medley...

Week 2 : Day 3 Update

Took my blood pressure this morning and everything is still fine. The redness in the face and feeling of being flushed must not be related to blood pressure. So that's a relief. I'll keep on top of it just the same.

Today is leg day. The TRUE test of whether or not my cycle is kicking in. If I actually enjoy leg day, I'll know shit is working. LOL

Glad everything is still going well bro. I'm sure you will really have things taking off very soon

Just for fun I thought I'd drop this in here. Here's a 10 year transformation pic of yours truly. 2005 to 2015. I didn't really get serious about my fitness until I started having heart problems in 2010. It's been quite the journey since then! I'm sure thankful for all of the support I've been getting here at AR to help me get to the next level. You guys are awesome!
