MissBizz's Transformation Log

also my hdl went from 47 to 64 with high fat and ldl dropped. I am sensitive to insulin my vitamin d was 27 anjd i have been taking 10,000 ius a day my A1C was a little high as soon as i did keto my vitamin d went 50 and my A1C dropped. crazy how nutrition acts in people differently.
Funny thing is I have a lot of these same issues. Low vitamin d, my ldl is low, but my hdl was 41. It increases from.last year 20 something to 41, however that's still very low. Interesting!!

Completely agree with you here!!!! I am shocked by how well this is going!

My fiancé and I were just talking about nutrition compliance earlier this week. We were discussing the importance of finding "What works best" for the individual instead of following the masses or trends. If a nutrition plan works, but leaves you feeling miserable or you don't like the foods you are eating, then it will not be sustainable. However, if you find something that works, you like the foods you are eating and you feel great doing it, consistency and compliance will be almost effortless.

And what's even more crazy is how long it takes to dial it in…I'm at 2 years and I still am making corrections..

I am as well. I found what works for me, but given the fact I stop experimenting, I can't say for sure what I do now is 100% optimal for my body.

This is definitely 100 on. I know I've tried a million different things. And though I've had success what was working for me just wasn't any more and with keto I do love all the foods I'm eating and I can definitely see keeping up with this. You really never are going to know what works best if you don't try!!!

So as an update I'm still hovering around the 5lb mark. 16 days I went straight keto, today was a refeed. Back at it tomorrow

My workouts have been great. I deadlifted on back day this week broke my personal best at 135 for 4 reps after doing 6 sets of gradually increasing weight. I've been getting in my lifts and cardio overall I feel great, I increased my rad 140 dose 2 weeks ago after stopping the var.

I see your over 10 days in, but I don't see how many lbs your down??? Is it a secret????? It's ok lol, but sounds like your doing great, keep it up !!!!!

Nice MissB this is what I'm talking about. Great job. Refeed feels good but once you get deeper into the Keto you can go without a refeed for 15 days at a time.

Thanks dangans, I will keep that in mind, I held off 16 days for the first so I'll probably do one every two weeks 😊😊

Yep just remember when you carb up see how long it takes to get back in ketosis so you know next time. I usually don't carb up unless I am feeling dreary or for my brain because remember your brain is addicted to sugar lol

No, that's so true . Your brain is what puts you in Ketosis..

Sugar and other junk foods, due to their powerful effect on the reward centers of the brain, function similarly to drugs of abuse like cocaine and nicotine

Well after eating carbs yesterday I feel shitty today. I haven't pooped, I've been in a shitty mood. But at least yesterday when I had my oats and sushi it felt good then lol

Yeah I went through the same and this is why I just stick to Keto no carb up unless I really need it
