yeah, its definitely old school but i learned A LOT of old school things in my 20's bro... i followed quite a bit of them with a very high success rate, especially incorporating both old and new school methods and techniques into my own hybrid type of implementation and honestly, its the best way because both had excellent methods and ways...

The diet is what's kicking my ass. I am going to do this.

Diet is tough. Id say its probably the #1 offender in your difficulty gaining mass. The best way ive found to make sure im getting enough of the right kind of calories and macro breakdown is to spend the time and energy to calculate what I need, what im getting currently, and make adjustments on paper. Then comprise a few staple meals I enjoy and meal prep for the week or at least a few days. I make my breakfast and lunch and have fruit and several snacks and bring it all to work with me. I have a post workout meal prepared for after work and my girl and I generally go out or cook our meals for dinner that night. I also have a shake after the gym and about an hour later eat my meal. Its a lot of food and it can be taxing and tedious at times but its the only way I can grow

Lots of great suggestions and information for you here bro. This should be enough for you to get a great plan together. Duet is everything so make sure to make that your first priority

Thanks everyone, it time I take this information and make this happen. I am going to do my best and I'll keep on posting. Thanks again

This has been an excellent thread and stands as a perfect example of why AR is lightyears ahead of any other forums, you cannot beat the support and quality of direction provided here. Thanks for posting BB.
If I could add anything it would be about preparation. As an old coach of mine used to always say "prior, proper, planning prevents piss poor performance." You have your goal in mind and the forum has given you fantastic direction. Make sure to take some time to plan it all out so you can achieve your goal. You got this! Keep us updated broseph!

Thanks guys, your all awsome. I got another question ... PASTA? IF I precook a few servings of posta and chicken it would make things easy. Does this sound good? Along with a veggie

You know honestly brother you heard a lot of good things from some great people....But for me thats what worked for me, A lot of chicken, pasta and peanut butter, I had pasta and peanut butter with every meal. Even at breakfast. Only cause of where I was at, that was all i can get(Afghanistan) I went to the war 6'2" 175 lanky as f**k came home 9 months later weighing 6'2" 195 with a little muscle...But between missions and working in the Role. I trained like beast just so it would not turn in to fat. My advice is you got to find what works for you in the budget you got. Oh and i had tuna on stockpile..the LSs' were able to get me tons of that shit. Perks for being the corpsman I guess

I like that youre thinking of planning ahead, but think more along whole grains and brown rice. I love cous cous personally and thats my staple carb for my lunches and dinners. That or brown rice, quinoa, or other low glycemic impact carb choices

I'm omw now to load up on rice and tuna, chicken and peas. I will have my eggs, milk, and oatmeal, and yogart, plus I'll switch up with bagel with cream cheese. I would love to run a test cycle one day soon.
