Hi there!
I've been looking for some time to join the right bodybuilding-related forum with well meaning and open-minded members and I think AdrenalineRush is just that.
I am a 28 years old male from Bulgaria (south-east Europe, next to Greece) and I'm currently trying to get leaner and stronger after spending most of 2014 as a pizza eating couch potato  When I was 15 I got into weightlifting and kick-boxing and I was very serious about my training (had good results with Hypertrophy Specific Training / HST) and diet, but two years later my focus shifted to playing guitar in bands, my first serious relationship, university, jobs and etc.
For the last 10 years I've only had short periods of quality workouts but last few months I've been a lot more serious and I'm really enjoying my time at the gym, also trying to keep my diet in check... most of the time.
Intermittent fasting, reverse pyramid training and hitting each muscle group 2 or 3 times a week is what I feel works best for me right now.
I'm also fresh off a failed vegan diet (not my first try) - I was doing rather OK (physically) on that diet but after 5 months I was feeling constantly bloated, didn't even want to look at another fruit or vegetable and was dying for something with real cheese or eggs in it... And when that Vegan Gains character appeared (as if DurianD*ckRider & co. weren't bad enough), I suddenly rediscovered a vicious appetite for dairy and chicken
I came here thanks to Dylan's YouTube channel, I found his videos refreshing, especially compared to how shockingly bad most fitness-related YT channels are. I think Dylan's input on AAS is priceless and I am very thankful for it. I'm considering doing a cycle in the near future but I'm not in a hurry, first I want to get a lot leaner and stronger while natural.
I play guitar & upright bass and sing in a rock band which is a big motivating factor for me to not give up on weightlifting and dieting - I believe becoming shredded would definitely help me being a better musician, among other things.
I'm here mostly to read and learn but I hope to post more often, provided that I can positively contribute to a discussion.
