I agree, but not with what is seen here. I'm not even that strong and there is no way I can get a good pump with 15lbs Dumbbells. Back in my early training days all I had was a few Dumbbells I used at home 15lbs to be exact and I would have to literally do like 12 sets of 40 reps just to feel like I was working hard and I'm not even all that strong.

Man I can get a pump with 7.5lbs if I tried. Yes it would take many reps and hard flexion but it's doable. You have to squeeze HARD on each rep. I think these people who say they do sets of 10 with 80-90lb are either lying or swinging their whole body to get it up. I don't believe there's any way 99% of the population of BBers can do even one strict rep of that kind of weight.

That's like guys who say they can knock out tons of pull-ups then proceed to start kipping. No bro, your pull-up count is still zero.

If you get more of a back and glute pump when doing heavy db curls then obviously you aren't really doing curls.

Strict form trumps whatever bullshit weights you think you can lift.

I feel you though, weight is weight if you use it properly you can achieve a pump of sorts. However the outcome will be different. I don't think my arms would look they same if I used anything lighter than what I do. Today for example I warmed up with 50's for 20 and 18. Jumped to 60' for 14, 70's for 12 and 80's for 10 for two sets, the 8 final set. I do all my curls strict as i am the form police. Not literally I don't correct ppl on form, but I hate shit form. Maybe I've been reading the db's wrong and I've been using 05's, 06's, 07's and 08's???

Lol yeah. It you had to work up to those doing strict with every level before you got there. Most people have shit form. I've even heard some females say they curl what you do and I don't buy it one bit.

Do you do standing alternating, standing simultaneously, seated alternating, seated simultaneously, incline alternating, incline simultaneously with the dumbbells?

Seated simultaneous. Alternating allows too much momentum usage.
