And here we.. Go! I'm a powerlifter and my next meet is in July. My meet prep starts now! My current stats are: 700-squat, 560-bench, 600-dead. I'm 26, 6'3" 293lbs @ about 18% bodyfat and have been lifting for 13 years. My goals are to stay in the 308 weight class if possible, and total 2,000lbs. Here's what I have planned for my cycle:

16 weeks out
500mg Test C every 5 days
500mg EQ every 5 days
200mg Deca every 5 days
50mg Proviron ED
12.5mg Aromasin E3D

10 weeks out adding: GW 501516


6 weeks out adding:
100mg Tren A EOD
50mg Winstrol ED

2 weeks out adding:
Halo 20mg ED

First pin was Sunday evening. I had been running Test C at 250mg every 5 days during my offseason. So now I've basically doubled my dose of Test, added EQ and low dose Deca. I train 4 days a week on a modified Westside/conjugate method. Saturday is max effort lower body, Sunday is max effort bench. Wednesday and Thursday are accessory days for upper and lower. And when I focus on weaknesses that I might have found training over the weekend. I'm really excited about this one and happy I have a place like this to share my excitement and progress. Time to get STRONG
 
Those are some impressive lifts. And this is one heck of an impressive cycle. I'll be following to see where this takes you brother!

i like your cycle layout a lot... constructed very well bro... thats a smart cycle... im really glad to see someone with some actual common sense... huge lifts, big stats, you should do very well... im looking forward to your results...

the one thing i may consider is bumping your eq to 600-800 but otherwise, looks great brother

Thanks Dylan! Means a lot coming from you! I spoke with RickRock about the EQ as well. Since I'm pinning 500mg every five days, you think I should still up the dose? I've found that schedule works perfectly for me with test and wanted to try it with the EQ this go around. What do you think?

600 would be the bare minimum... it may be a heavy pin day but your cutting yourself short and eq is so nice, the last thing you want to do is short change yourself on it... i know your after strength here and if i might make a recommendation to you... S4 adds A LOT of extra strength and would go so well here... ESPECIALLY with deca and eq... its like peanut butter and jelly... those are really the only things i would consider changing/tweaking... everything else looks damn good man

definitely make those small changes brother... its going to be a mean cycle for sure... im definitely looking forward to your results..
 
Last night was my second pin and I upped the dose on the EQ. I'm now at 500mg test C and 600mg of EQ every 5 days. Tonight was max effort lower body. I kept squats light this week and pulled heavy. Worked up to 575 for two singles and an EASY 590 for a single. Finished up with some abs and called it a night. With the speed I had with that 590, I'd guess I have about 615-620 in the tank right now. Hopefully by the end of this I'll bring that up to 640+. Tomorrow is max effort bench and the plan is to work up to the mid 400s for sets of 3. Felling great right now, nowhere to go but up!
 
Hey Dylan, or RickRock, or anyone else who knows what their talking about. I'm thinking about dropping the Winstrol the last six weeks of the cycle for a different DHT. I know Winny can add strength but I don't want it to mess with my joints during those really heavy weeks. I'm thinking about Anadrol or Dbol. I'm not a huge fan of Dbol so I'm leaning more towards the Anadrol. How do I keep from putting on a ton of weight with it though? I know diet is important with the bloat from Anadrol, but I'm going to be in a caloric surplus. I'm 296lbs right now and I have to stay below 308.

Stay away from Dbol for sure bro. Anadrol believe it or not can be very dry do its not a bad choice. A lot of guys even use it the final weeks of contest prep if that tells you anything. It's all technically a DHT derivative. It's just very harsh and toxic. However I thinks it's awesome for strength and what you are going for.

Cool, thanks bro! Would I dose it the same? 50mg a day for 6 weeks?
 
Haven't updated since the weekend but I'll try to keep it brief. As you saw earlier, squats stayed light and deadlifts went very well. Sunday was max effort bench where I was supposed to work up to the mid 400s for sets of 3. After chatting with my coach for a while, we decided to stay at 405 but bring my grip in a little narrower to hit the triceps a little harder to work on my lockout strength. 4 sets of 3 and shut bench down. Moved on to some chain skull crushers for 4 sets of 12 with 80lbs of chain in each hand. If skull crushers ever don't feel good on your elbows, give these a try. Hook the chains to a short rope attachment or a D-handle and you're good to go. Make sure all the chains come off the ground at the top of the movement. After that some moderate weight barbell rows to hit the lats and some abs and done. Tuesday was squat accessories with speed squats to a bellow parallel box with 345 for 8 sets of 2 to work on tightness and speed at the bottom of the squat. That was followed with glute/ham raises, and stiff leg deadlifts both 3 sets of 12 then abs and done. Later today is bench accessories with floor presses and dumbell presses against bands in the plan.
Starting to feel the increased test dose. Veins are starting to pop a little more, my appetite is way up, and weights are moving nicely. This weekend I have a great opportunity to squat heavy with some powerlifting legends, there's going to be at least 4 1,000lbs+ squatters in the gym and I get to work with them! If there's ever a time for a PR outside of a meet, this is it! I'll keep you guys posted!

Well, got an easy 725 squat for a 25lb PR and shut it down. Felt like I had about 20lbs more in the tank, so I've got a good perceived max to work off for the next 12 weeks. Got a lot of good feedback and criticism from some big names in the sport. Finished the day with 2x2 rack pulls from just below the knee, glute/ham raises for 3x10, and heavy static holds for abs. Got my sights set on a 2K total in July and I think I'm right on track!
