Have you considered Greek yogurt rather than cottage cheese? I love cottage cheese, but really, Greek yogurt is the way to go in shakes. I like 4oz pasturized egg whites in mine too. Almond milk 4oz as well. That holds me till my appetite returns. An hour later I punish a low fat meal.No it happens to me too. When that happens I do this.
Pull out the food processor/blender put in half a cup 1% cottage cheese, 1 scoop protein powder and 1- 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk and mix.
