Well, after years of doing this, I finally get to see first hand. Pinned Thursday morning and thought it was bizness as usual, although I did feel a slight zing when I had the pin buried but I didn't really think much of it. It didn't really hurt, just a bit of the ol' electric zap. So I pushed the 5ml of oil in and went to the gym. Later that day I could feel a golfball in there and could def feel it pushing on the nerve. For the past 2 days I have been limping and can barely put my socks on! Took this morning off from the gym to see if a little rest will help it subside. It's very painful to bend over or lay on and last night I had a terrible time trying to find a position to sleep in.
Anybody have any advice for easing the /pain/soreness or speeding recovery? I already know what I did wrong when I pinned so we can forego all that feedback, thank you!
Describe the exact area that you pinned in the quad, if you don't mind. I'm just curious where exactly it was you hit. A lot of people pin quads quads in the wrong spot it seems. I'm not saying you did at all brother. I'm sure you know exactly the right spot, but I'm genuinely curious where you've pinned because I pin quads almost exclusively and have never had a problem so far
Pinned glutes brother. Gonna try it a little more inwards from now on, towards my ass crack more. Been pinning almost totally outer glute all this time. I've had that little "zing" before but I guess I've just been getting lucky until now, seeing as how I've never experienced this type of pip/pain before!
That's my bad bro. For some reason I misread that you said quads which had me scratching my head. From now on I would try and do ventroglute. Don't go back further towards the crack. That can cause you more problems. Or you could just do quads. I love quads
