Log for Hipo Beginners Stack

First off, I'd like to thank Hipo for selecting me to run his beginner cycle. This will be the second cycle that I have run. My first cycle was also Hipo gear and I got great results......so obviously I'm very excited about running this!

I spoke with Hipo during the contest and I will not be starting until October but I did want to post the gear porn now. My goals are two fold, to recomp my body and to gain as much strength as possible. I will tell you that I am not someone that most of this community would select to run this. I am not 15% bodyfat but I am someone who has over 20 years experience training and I can move some decent weight.

My diet is pretty basic. Have roughly 50g of protein with every meal, a serving of good carbs, and a small amount of fats. I've been going strong with this for a few months now and am slowly dropping weight. That was done while working 60+ hours a week but now that the summer is over, I'll be working normally again...and I think that will help. My kids soccer season has arrived so I will take advantage of their practices and do double sessions of cardio.

My training schedule is a 5 day split. I do chest, back, arms, legs, and shoulders. I try to do between 15-20 sets of each body part (arms i do 10/10) My first lifts are my compound lifts which I go very heavy and then the rest of the workout is for sculpting. My strength goals are as follows:

Legs: Squat increase from 500 1rm to 525 1rm; Deadlift from 525 1rm to 550 1rm
Chest: Incline from 300 1rm to 315; flat from 355 to 370; decine from 365 to 385
Back: BB rows from 365 1rm to 405
Shoulders: seated military from 225 to 245; standing from 205 - 225
Arms: CGBP from 275 - 300; weight dips from BW+180 to BW+200

I believe all of these goals are obtainable based on my experience with Hipo gear and how I felt training on it the last cycle.

Cycle will be laid out as follow:

test e 1-12 500/wk
proviron 1-12 50mg ED
EQ 1-12 400/wk (may increase to 600 if I don't see good results....not a part of Hipo's package)
winny 6-12 50mg ED (Hipo protocol has this for wk 1-6, I'd like to use as finisher. If Hipo wants me to run early, I'll change)

That's all I've got. I will do my best to post workout results and blog as frequently as possible once I begin in October. Once again, thank you for selecting me Hipo!

Please get mid cycle bloods. Seeing as you got the gear for free you can afford to get a blood test right :p

Bloods for mid and end of cycle were put in the expectations when I applied for the free cycle. When the time comes I'll ask what I need to order because I've never done bloods before

Nice. The process of getting bloods is very easy. Check out privatemdlabs. Thats where most of us get ours done. You just select the test you want, pay for it online, they give you a lab order form that you print out, take that to your local lab corp facility, they take your blood, and you get your results in a few days via email. Easy as can be. When it comes time for you to get them, just post in this thread and we'll help get you setup. There's usually a monthly 15% off coupon as well so you can save a few bucks on the test.

Thanks brother. I already have the site saved from being around for awhile. I just don't remember what most get....I thought it was a female panel or something like that. I'll def ask when the time comes,
 
Today was the first pin day for my log. I pinned my right glute and it was as smooth as I remembered from my last cycle. I got my blood work from my physical and all looked fine. I did notice a big jump in triglycerides from last year to this year but I'm still in the normal range. I'm thinking of doubling up my fish oil to get more omega 3's to see if that helps bring that number down. If anyone has any other ideas, I'd appreciate any input.

Back was the body part for today. I did a simple workout since I was late bc of my early doctors appt.

5 sets hammer rows 1-5 plates, reps ranged from 20-10
5 sets hammer pulldowns 1-4 plates. reps ranged from 20-5
5 sets bar pulldowns...from head down to waist....10 reps super set with 5x5 pull ups with long hold on top to get lat contraction.

30 min elliptical after workout. I'll likely do another 30 walking at my daughters soccer practice.
I've dropped about 10lbs since I made this post with improved diet and increased cardio. I had a cheat weekend with my kids playing in soccer tournaments all over Massachusetts but I'm back on track now.
 
Arm day today. Did 10 sets tris and 10 sets of bis. Only exercise of significance that I track for strength gains is CGBP. Today I hit 275x3...was hoping for 4 on that set but that will increase. Cardio was 30 min run followed by 5 min cool down. I should be able to get in another 30 min of walking at my sons practice tonight. During last nights walk at my daughters practice, I put all of my pin days in my phone. About the half way mark in my 12 week cycle for Hipo is about 12/6 or so. That is the plan to get mid cycle bloods completed.
 
Yesterday was shoulders. I did standing military presses...10,8,6,4,2 rep scheme...went from 135-195 which is about 10lbs away from where my 2-3 rep max was at the end of last cycle. Rest of workout included 5 sets rev pec dec, 5 sets side raise, 5 set front raise, 5 sets uprights. 30 min elliptical.

Today was leg day. Squats: 315x10, 365x7, 405x4, 455x2, 500x1 I'm starting to feel the impact of starting deads again on my squats. 455x3 was my 3 rep max at the end of last cycle so I'm in a good spot with that. SLDL for 5 sets, leg extension 5 sets, and 3 sets calf raise with 3 diff foot placements to hit each part of calf were done. 25 min on bike to try to loosen up legs....I don't think that worked.

Tomorrow is pin day #2 and chest workout. I will be picking up a small notebook to track weights as well. This week has been busy but I should have time to get that started between soccer games.
 
I know the gear works great; used it for my first ever cycle and got great results. Looking forward to posting bloods because at the end of the day, that's what makes believers out of people :)

Pin #2 this morning in left VG...smooth as always. I think its going to take a few weeks for longer esters to kick in and I'm def looking foward to that!

Today was chest day. I did 5 sets incline..tried to use my usual 10-2 format reducing by 2 reps....didnt work out so well. 135x10, 225x8, 245x4, 255x3, 275x2 was what I hit. Overall, I'm pretty happy bc I was at 275x3 for my 3 rep max at the end of last cycle. 30 min on elliptical and now the day is mine to enjoy kids soccer.
