I think I got the basic understanding of each. My question is at my age (45) wouldn't blast and cruise be a better option? Is blast and cruise only for people that have a few cycles and PCT under their belt (so to speak) ? I'm definitely intrigued...
It depends entirely on whether or not you can sustain healthy natural testosterone levels or not. If you can, I would continue to PCT until you have to. Get tested and see where you are at when you are not on cycle. Two years ago I started blasting and cruising because my natural levels were in the tank, and I just couldn't maintain healthy levels any longer. I literally couldn't get my levels over 200 despite throwing the kitchen sink at recovery. It's definitely a viable option at your age, and as you get older it becomes harder and harder to have those good test levels. I'm 41 myself
Ok... I see now how important getting tested is...
Here in NC its hard as shit to get a script. .even if ur reading on the low side they want to go with cialis or androgel. They really just ignorant to the problem as u said. Ive always had a theory though but never tried it and that was, run some test for a month and stop cold turkey wait till week 3 and get tested...when ur levels should be rock bottom. Then maybe they'll write a script then tweek it yourself like u did
Yeh I always recovered well and had good levels, did PCT, felt great, etc. It's when I did a real long cycle (18 weeks) with several different compounds, and a very tough contest prep diet and lots of cardio that led to me just not recovering afterwards. I felt like complete death and I knew something was wrong. I had zero motivation or drive for the gym, sex drive was in the toilet, muscle mass and strength was declining, and fat gain was coming on when my diet was spot on. My blood tests just confirmed my suspicions. I've been on TRT since then and it's been life changing.
