I'm two weeks away from my first cycle and somehow I managed to thrash my left arm. Ugh! A couple weeks ago I noticed pain around my left elbow radiating up to my shoulder. I thought it was just normal muscle soreness, so I pushed through it for a week. Now it's getting worse and I'm certain I've injured something. Shit!!
Cardio for me for the next two weeks while I attempt to recover. I don't want to start my first cycle while I'm injured. That just sounds like a recipe for complete disaster. I'll postpone it if I must. But I'm SOOO looking forward to it. Ugh.
dan are you serious? what exactly is the problem and how did it happen, details please?
I don't know how it happened. There was no memorable event that I can trace the pain to. During the day the pain is mostly dull and located close to the elbow area. But when I attempt to lift weights it turns into a sharp pain that I can feel from the elbow up to the shoulder area, especially when doing dumbbell exercises such as lateral raises and even bicep curls. It almost feels like the pain in somewhere between the bicep and tricep area on the outside of the arm. It's really difficult to isolate exactly where it's coming from. This all started a couple weeks ago. I have to assume that I used bad form during one of my moves, but didn't realize that I had messed myself up until the next day.
I know there are healing properties to MK, and that SARM is actually part of my planned cycle. However, I'm also concerned about making things worse if the steroids mask the pain. I'm inclined to play it safe, get healed up and then start my cycle at that point. For now I think I'll move to cardio and leg work until the arm starts feeling better. If this pain keeps up, I might go see the Doc. But I'm always hesitant to go that route unless it's absolutely necessary.
from what you described, sounds like a little tendonitis/inflammation action. here some suggestions, you may do this already so i apologize but here they are:
you can decrease the load on it, use very light weights just to get blood into muscle while you let it recuperate, or if it hurts too bad stop altogether.
also possibly increase your healthy fats intake to help lubricate and reduce inflammation.
Glucosamine/MSM daily. use glucosamine Sulfate, not HCL.
minyak gosok or tiger balm to apply to elbow and muscle. minyak gosok you heat up in microwave and take a piece of ginger root and rub into affected area.
take hot baths with Epsom Salt and massage affected area.
