Sitting here eating some bananas and drinking some juice trying to wrap my mind around the task at hand. Last week I managed to squeeze out 2 solid and one barely rep of 495 on the bench and today I am attempting the extra 5 pounds for 500. Not gonna lie, this shit is heavy and all will be determined by the lift off and initial descending of the bar and immediate push off. All I want is one solid rep. One rep. One fucking rep. 2.5 pounds per side ain't shit.
Yes, I'm psyching myself out and committing to this shit online so if I fuck it up I live in it and you know The 44 sucks ass. 2.5 pounds extra each side ain't shit. I'm gonna own that bitch....

Update post workout, unless I end up in the ER fuckers.

Sorry fellas was posting some shit, answering Q's and pissing on fires.
Today was a strong fucking day in the gym... 500 x 1, 505 x 1. Then I decided that if I pushed anymore weight I might shit all over the bench and floor. I think what got me extra fired up was the fact this dickhead hater was in the gym that whispers behind my back that I'm 'on something'... well it was confirmed today bitch "I'm on a whole new level". I wanna get a Go-Pro and either a head band, or chest band so I can document shit now that I'm officially strong again. My hands hurt, shoulders are exhausted, hell my whole body aches and I'm tired AF from today. Thanks for posting the encouraging words brothers, I appreciate it. Hell my knees even hurt wtf...

No doubt the combination of Valhalla, Federal orals and a lack of common sense made these lifts possible!

Funny I don't feel like a beast after today. Mentally yes, physically I feel like I just tried to play tackle football against a bunch of guys 23 years younger than me. Everything aches lol. I'm dissatisfied however, it's the mental thing. While I was at the gym I felt I looked the part of a beast... now I feel I look like a enema bottle that back washed. That shit literally took a lot out of me. Somebody bring me a percocet and a Dos Equis XXX.

That's awesome bro, I have never seen anyone at my gym even attempt that kinda weight on the bench. Glad you got it done. As for me, no amount of orange juice and bananas will get me to push pass 285 lbs on bench lol. But then I am a natty and not taking anything but GW right now. Plus I worry if I push too hard at my age, I might blow a seal or drop an o-ring or something like that.

Lol... that's funny as hell. Sore, but better than I was bayer is a life saver. Water, carbs, eggs... and red meat to rejuvenate.
