Yes I do run outdoors that's my favorite thing just real peaceful for me but being summer in vegas not alot of running outdoors. Shoes have about 150 miles on the and are on there tail end of life but a year ago when I started to get back in shape I had the same thing happen but it only lasted for a week or two . Had a guy at the running store tell me that the calfs are so much stronger than the muscles in the shin that you need to strech more and it helped but I've put on about 20 lbs since then.ill get back to running it might just need to start all over. Yes I have not run in about 2 weeks and I'm a month from my race so I'll get the next one . So spinning , eliptical, and been swimming

bro, when you are a runner, especially in abundance, switching shoes every 3-4 months is crucial and i mean HUGE... what type of shoes are you using? yes, your calf muscles have expanded to quickly and the shin cannot accommodate either and that's part of the pain you have to endure.... the other issue is one of the only true ways to heal them is to rest them which is obviously difficult at this time.... its just a shitty nagging injury and really has limited treatment... there's just steps you can take to try to lessen the extent... running on shock absorbing treadmills is the first... life fitness has excellent running accommodations on their equipment...

My road shoes are reebok zag which are a neutral shoe and I'm a neutral runner so they have been great starting to loose the cushion . My trail shoes are a pair of brooks pure grit 3.

have you tried brooks ghost for road shoes or even the glycerin? reebok is not a very strong shoe for outdoor runners.. your best two brand are going to be brooks and asics but brooks is clear cut favorite... this will make such a drastic difference with nagging injuries like you are dealing with...

I'll give them a look. looking into inov8 also.

Definitely check on the brooks ghost bro... thats the best of the best and you will see a HUGE difference in just one run with them... trust me, shoes make all the difference when your a volume runner and so does constantly getting new pairs as the others wear down because i assure you, they can crush your shins etc as your seeing... on top of a lot of other negative aspects it can cause

Sorry for not posting the last few weeks kept trying but it wouldn't show. So finishing up early next week . So I started at 190 and 14% bf and as of of today I'm at 200 and 12% bf lack of putting in good cardio kinda killed the bf lose I wanted . Had a nagging shoulder when I started no issues at all with it anymore. Strength has improved couldn't be happier with this stack as I started hitting the gym hard again after some major issues at home one year ago I weighed 167 last June stress was killing me dumped all my garbage and started to take care of myself I set goals for myself of running a 3 , 8 , 13 mile race and try and get to 200 and 10% bf well I've hit all but the 13 mile and 10% but this year isn't over might get one or both still. 33 lbs with change of diet but most importantly let all my baggage loose. Still looking to hit 215 or 225 and 10% I'm 6' 2" so still looking to bulk up started taking daa power chews. Now maybe time for some test and tbol next for a cycle

so far a gain of 10 lbs. and a drop of 2% body fat? WOW... thats impressive man... especially with having some of the injuries you have... bro, that's damn impressive... NICE work... you can absolutely get to where you want to be.. there are plenty of gains ahead... make sure you start putting in the effort with your cardio as well to further drop your body fat... you can definitely get to your goal

Those are some impressive results brother, so you should be very happy with that. You've made some huge changes and great progress to this point. Nice job!
