Sodium blocker

I've heard of sodium channel blocker that's a medication...it's an antiarryhthmic drug to correct abnormal heart rhythms. If you're looking for something just to reduce sodium in your diet, consuming potassium rich foods is one of the way to go. There is an inverse relationship between sodium and potassium. As potassium levels rise, sodium levels decrease and vise versa.

Is there such a thing as a sodium blocker or destroyer?

Yes but you do not want to mess with your Na and K. I like to use "No Salt" which is potassium chloride and mix it 60/40 with regular salt, which is sodium choride

What Jake said is good but I would add to get undefined unprocessed salt. Don't get sea salt thinking it's better than table salt because most sea salt is refined as well. Try pink Himalayan salt or even Hawaiian black lava salt, both of which can be found at Costco or whole foods or even central market if you have those.

well if you are watching your sodium intake or are on a sodium restricted diet then you have to watch all salt...sea salt or anything like that is still sodium. Only "No Salt" is sodium free.

Not sure, but why would you want to? Electrolyte balance is a very sensitive and serious thing to fuck with. You could put yourself in the hospital. If salt intake is too high, just lower it.
