Anyone ran Brandon Lilly's The Cube Program ?
I am messing around with it now. It's quite complicated at 1st. I actually had to right out my own 9 week wave to make the numbers make sense. It seems like the volume of work is a little light for what I'm used to.
Just wonderng had anyone tried it and with what kind of success.

Nope but I've ran Johnny Canditos program with some pretty great success. I'm thinking about doing the Bulgarian squat method during this cycle.

Has anyone ever read this? http://www.westside-barbell.com/art...he-westside-barbell-book-of-methods-the-ebook

I have been trying to wrap my head around Louie Simmons methods for a year now...While I understand many of the basic principles it seems like references like this are just collections of his articles and are scatter brained. ..I have a hard time following them. ..Has anyone seen or developed a westside method for dummies training plan?
Louie is The Man. The numbers prove that! But his shit is not easy to follow.
Great idea on book for dummies.

I like his basic principles. Train heavy for strength and train light for speed.
He pushes his guys to new. PRs each week. But they rarely do the 3 big lifts for heavy singles. He does different variations of them.

Yeah...I mean no doubt he knows his stuff....just wish I could figure the whole thing out....but I think it is kinda like grandma's cookie recipe....There is always a secret ingredient he will never publish

Yup...His guys don't do their basic 3 lifts until the meet itself...just variations....it works. ..that is for sure

I recently met Louie. I stopped him and said hello, Big fan!
He stopped and talked to my wife and I like he had known us for years!
Really cool!

I just did a meet Near WVU. He showed up with a huge DEadlifter named jake Norman.
That is great! Shit...He is in Ohio and I do meets in michigan all the time and he has never showed up when I was there. ..that's great man!

It was really cool. West side is only 3 hrs from where we were. The Mono and benches we used were brought down from WS.
Not sure how far you are from northern WV but I'll PM you when the next Meet is announced.
