Hi all. Needing some input. I'm a newbie to the 'idea' of sarms and would like a bit of input.

I'm a female, age 51, 5'9", 143lbs, 27% BF.
Live a fairly healthy lifestyle, stay active, gym 3 days a week w a trainer, and typically walk daily. But, it's too cold here now, so not walking. I have achieved 24% BF in the past, but it literally took working out 5x/week + 2x/week w a trainer.

I have been working out consistently for 10 years, (just dropped gym time this past year from 7xweek to 3x/week) but not getting what I want. I do track macros. I was doing 40/40/20 w my old trainer, but now doing 35/50/15 (but usually it's closer to 30/50/20). protein/carbs/fats. Play tug of war w my trainer on amount of protein. I like higher protein, he likes higher carbs for workouts. I eat a lot of oatmeal, sweet potatoes, fruits, coconut, nuts, almond milk, and chicken, and I use whey protein and BCAA's. I do include some red meats, just not a huge red meat fan. I use multi grain breads on occasion (not a big bread fan), and some corn tortillas.

I have never been extremely athletic, so muscle would be a new idea to my body.

It appears no matter what I do I can't get the results I want and it's beyond difficult to stay motivated.

I take daily multivitamins, Omega 3/6, magnesium (500-1000 mg/day) --due to restless leg syndrome, vitamin D, vitamin C, and vitamin E.
I am also on HRT and add 100mg progesterone daily.

I've been researching HGH and came across Sermorelin and this forum as well. I've been reading lots here.

Bloodwork shows I am IGF deficient, and I have Sermorelin that should be delivered within the next day or so. I love the anti-aging effects that may come w the Sermorelin. But, my overall goal is this:

I want to tone and lean out alot. Hoping I can get to 18-19%BF. It appears that I may be one of those lucky non-responders to HIIT, so we are back to increasing weight. We do monitor heart rate while working out. My recovery is unreal, like I drop heart rate on an extreme slope compared to many others (even those in their 20's).

Goal weight: 130-132lbs. (but size and being lean is more important than the number). Anti-aging, strengthening my core and overall toning.

Question:

After reading and watching some videos, it appears that I may need to add something like ipamorelin with the sermorelin or would the MK766 be a better combo to attain the anti-aging, weight loss, and toning I wish to achieve?

Any thoughts on continuing to take the BCAA's along w the sermorelin? dose is prescribed at 20 units nightly when it arrives, but is timing better prior to workout, or prior to going to bed? Also, was told to dose at least 2hrs after eating. But, I usually try to eat something like oatmeal w/whey protein an 1-2 hrs. prior to working out.

I work out in the evenings due to my work schedule. Usually like at 10pm in the evenings. When the weather is nice, I walk in the mornings (fasted) and often again in the evening at midnight when I get home from working out.

Hope I got all the info. needed here. Sorry for the long post.

semorelin and mk677 will help you... you need other compounds to help you drop the weight and body fat you want, sarms related... 677 and semorelin are plenty for your deficiencies... i would go with a sarms stack like this...

1-12 GW-501516 (CARDARINE) 20 mg day dosed once a day 30 minutes prior to workout or a.m.
1-12 mk677 (NUTROBAL) 12.5 mg day dosed once a day in the p.m.
1-12 sr9009 (STENABOLIC) 30 mg day... 5 mg split doses 2-3 hours apart
1-12 S4 (ANDARINE) 50 mg day... split doses... 25 mg in the a.m. and 25 mg in the p.m.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Do you think it's a 'must' to increase more workout days? or is the 3-day plan fine? I will be adding walking back in when the weather warms up, probably 6-8 weeks away for that. (I do run some when it's warm, but I'm not a real runner either. I can do about 1.2 miles then walk). Any thought on protein intake? Curious because I think I need the 40/40/20 but trainer just doesn't agree (he's the educated one in this arena, not me).

Also, would love to hear from any females here on what they do, or in similar situation to myself, and those that have tried Sermorelin.

i would go more than 3 days... i would at least go with 4... i would go 50-55% protein, 30% carbs and 10-15% fats

Dylan set you up perfectly with a great sarms stack. I hope you got your questions all answered, but if you have any more just let us know. Welcome to isarms

Will def start to read up more on these. Seems like a lot going on w this. Not questioning your knowledge, I'm just a newbie is all.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure I'll have more questions. Just got more reading to do. My plan is to start the sermorelin when it arrives in the next day or so then add what I need after educating myself further.

First off.....WELCOME SISTER

You've come to a great forum that can help with info based on experience and a good group to help with motivation and support when needed

I agree with Dylan re your macros
www.myfitnesspal is a great resource
Maybe I missed it but what is your daily caloric intake?
If you've been training that long and not making significant progress with fat loss....it's most probably due to consuming too many calories
ALSO....you made no mention of cardio
For burning fat ...there is no replacement for steady state cardio....obtain 70% of your max heart rate and hold it there for a min of 45 min....5 to 7 days a week

Tables and base metabolic rate are only good as a very general place to start..
But everyone is different and you need to adjust your calories based on weigh trend
Weekly if the scale is staying the same....you need to reduce your calories
As I said...Tables are generalizations....In my own case ....to maintain my weight I need to eat 100 calories below what the table says my resting metabolic is...this dispite a super active lifestyle including burning over 600 extra calorie.a.day from exercise and cardio....lol...If I followed the table and added in a component for activity...I'd be eating nearly double what I actually eat...
So...take the tables with a.grain of salt...my general rule is...eat LESS than you think you need..then adjust as needed

HRT and HGH go together like peanut butter and jelly
From personal experience...I wouldn't fool around with peptides

Again..WELCOME...stick around and keep us updated on your progress

I did leave caloric intake out. Sorry. I use fatsecrets to track macros. I like it better than fitnesspal. Current calorie count is 1000-1200 calories (usually closer to 1000). My prior trainer wanted me at 1700, but I was at 1500 (with the higher protein/ lower carb count).

I workout three days a week (with one day being HIIT training for cardio), and walk/run 5x/week (but haven't for a few weeks since it's way cold outside).

I probably should add another day of training and a bit more cardio, but it appears I've done the 7x/week workout w 5x/week cardio and now less of both and neither seems to work. Def. appears that I'm a nonresponder and need to stick w heavier weights. Hell, adding my walk/run in 5x/week, I actually lost a few pounds, but lost muscle mass as well-- by like 3% (according to caliper measurements). Pretty darn frustrating. That's why I started searching around for something more and ended up here.

Thank for the welcome. I'll def. update progress as I research and try to figure it out. The info. may help other females my age as well.

HIIT is great for your heart and stamina but it does little for fat burning

The problem with running/walking is it's hard to keep your heart rate at a constant 70% ....and that's where the most fat burning occurs

I understand it seems like no matter what you do you can't get the results you want. 1000-1200 calories just seems way too low to me. What exactly is your macro breakdown?

buen,

Thanks for your input. I'll try to watch this more as I'm working out to see how long the heart rate stays above 70%. I know for the lifting days we do not stay above 70% the entire time. But, I think you are talking about cardio. Things should be much easier to figure out, lol.

you are not going to want higher carbs for weight loss like that at all... the breakdown i gave you flat out works... its going to stall further with that breakdown you have now

Yeah, if you want to lose fat thays a really bad macro ratio. I had a feeling that your macros might be imbalanced. You want a lot less carbs and more protein. Your trainer should know that, to coincide with your goals.

I'd put you more on a diet of something like 55/30/15

I'm going to try a 50/35/15-- if I can get to that 15%, but on the 1000 calories, 15% is a very small amount.
Yesterday I was at 45/36/19 (1093 calories).

Dylan,

On that stack you suggested, am I going to starve to death w MK 677? lol.
I've been reading up on those suggested and it appears increased appetite is real there.

My Sermorelin arrived. Going to start on that and look into ordering some stuff here to add when it arrives.
Def. gonna give this a serious go and see what happens.
