Mass gainers

Another thing. Food related. In my bedroom I keep and use a rice cooker, ninja-style blender (bella brand), and George Foreman grill. These tools have made eating lots of food much easier. Not too bad on keeping it all clean, either, because I'm not using tons of pots and pans. Easy to get all the calories/nutrients that I need using these as my primary means of cooking and eating. If you need to gain weight, make sure your food tastes pretty good, or else you are likely to not eat enough of it. If you are competing, disregard all of this and ask a pro.

^I too utilize rice on a daily, i will make a fresh batch every morning and eat from this all day long

between me and mrs. gemelli, we nearly have to make a new batch everyday... we got a sweet rice cooker for a wedding gift and we mix 2 servings of brown rice and one of white every time we make it... shes the big rice eater being asian but she has me eating about a serving a day... you just ask her how much she eats per day... LOL

I do eat a ton of rice everyday....sometimes I'll eat it three times a day but mostly twice a day. I don't know how I can eat so much and not gain any weight. In fact, I eat more than Dylan and that's no joke. When I make a plate of rice for him, he eats so little of it that I feel like I'm feeding a bird lol

Yeah but Mr. Gemelli is the reason you get such high quality food and can eat whatever you want! REMEMBER THAT NEXT TIME YOU MAKE A "FUNNY COMMENT" MRSSSS!! LOLLL

^Rice is a great thing ! Goes with alot of different types of foods, very versatile kinda like MK2877, lol
 
I love to throw in raisins onto my rice cooker, good carbs and taste better cooked with the rice

exactly! it really makes EVERYTHING taste so much better.. eggs, chicken, vegetable mixes etc... its amazing
 
As said before mass gainers are a load of crap. The best mass gainer is real food!

If you have a quality protein source or shake. Its real easy to load that thing up with real calories. As many have said look at the nutrient profile of PB and Oats, throw some rasins in there with Milk and you have a pretty potent nutritious and delicious mass gainer. I have Dylan disease, been cutting for about 6 months so the thought of any of this is pure terror.
 
The first time I ever attempted a bulk I used a ton of mass gainer shakes. They were full of sugars like dextrose and maltodextrin. After 3 months I had piled on so much FAT that it took me 6 months of cutting afterwards to get rid of it all. I was SO PISSED OFF! I lost all of my gains in the process of getting rid of the fat too. Ugh..lesson learned.

As others have said, I make my own shakes now. And I only have 1 per day. I dump spinach, natural peanut butter, rolled oats, a bananna, unsweetened almond milk, and a high quality protein isolate into the shake. I just use a hand blender which is fast and easy to clean afterwards. The shake is YUMMY!
 
Another idea for weight gain, using rice, is to add a can of coconut milk in place of some of the water. You can get sweetened or unsweetened coconut milk, and it's easy to eat and get tons of extra calories this way.
 
I'm big on whole foods, but like to get something fluid right after the workout. The best gainer on the market in my opinion is Mass Gainz by a company called iForce Nutrition. It's good shit. Instead of just dextrose/maltodextrin and whey, it's a mix of oats, waxy maize, whey & milk protein and MCTs.
Tbh it's the only one I would spend my money on at the moment.
 
Hey man I'll actually answer your question
ON makes the best shit if you want higher Cals go for serious mass
If you want higher protein and carbs go with pro gainer
Both good profiles just drink plenty of water on these
I've bulked well on these

I don't think I have to worry about getting too much fat. I have been using the mass gainer from iforce.

If I eat more calories than I need to, and train won't I gain? With 200protein, 300carbs 20fat. I'm 145lbs 8.9% bf. If that's true then what's wrong with the fillers in mass gainers
