Meal prep is basically the only way I can eat healthy

If I eat more calories than I need to, and train won't I gain? With 200protein, 300carbs 20fat. I'm 145lbs 8.9% bf. If that's true then what's wrong with the fillers in mass gainers

With 200p/300c/20f youre still in a caloric deficit (in my opinion) for your goals. Thats just under 2200 calories. I would shoot for more like 3000 at least. Try bumping your fats up a bit and keep protein where its at. Carbs and proteins carry a value of 4 calories per gram and fats 9 calories per gram. Its pretty easy to calculate a well rounded diet once you view it like that. Right now your macros are around 40/50/10.

I'm not using the gainers as my primary source for cals and protein any more, I only have one before bed and breakfast is a normal whey protein shake with my meal of yogurt, bagel/cream cheese and whole milk. I've been having tuna sandwich and cheddar cheese at lunch with a peanut butter / jelly sandwich in-between as a snack. Dinners has been chicken/rice/broccoli and like I said before bed is a full serving of iforce mass gainer with whole milk. I've already added 2.5 lbs!!! Crazy. I really appreciate everyone's input and advice. Awsome thing going here at AR!

It's also one of those things people don't realize. You don't just go pound a ton of food right off the bat. You gotta train ur appetite like you train the weights.

People turn to mass gainers because they are an easy alternative but realy carry a lot less benifit than you think.

Agreed. I am having such a hard time increasing my daily food intake. Work makes it hard to get the time to eat but I do my best. I've been slowly ramping calories up to adjust. Weird how sometimes I'm absolutely starving and then some days at the same time I have to force feed.

It's true what they say, " the more you eat, the more you want to eat". Plus weight training with whole foods makes a huge difference. Im usually starving within 2-3 hours after I eat if I go that long.

Exactly bro this is very accurate, just as you train the muscles you have to train your stomach. I believe the stomach is a muscle if im not mistaken, at the same time your remapping your metabolism. Takes some time but will eventually occur

What's some good choice foods for to up my fats

Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560 using Tapatalk

Fats? oh man there are so many good fats. whole eggs, and unsat oils like olive or grapeseed, Bacon, Beef, rotisserie chickens, Nuts, Full Fat Dairy, etc etc. dude i can eat ricotta cheese by the spoonful. best part is they all taste amazing..

At first it seemed like I couldn't find anything with fat in dairy aisle and everywhere in the whole grocery store, everything is no fat low fat. So I've been researching Whole Foods that are high in fat thanks bro.

yeah that is part of the Fad nowadays, LOW FAT. they also have other fads like GLUTEN FREE. i see all the time people that are extremely overweight saying i am gluten intolerant when in reality they probably have hypo thyroid from trash diets and lack of exercise and flouride poisoning in water.

one of the biggest things that peeves me is these so called "doctors" telling people (especially men) to avoid sat fat and cholesterol, which are both ESSENTIAL to healthy test levels (and other hormones). people tell me all the time that their doctors tell them to avoid cholesterol. i can almost guarantee that dietary cholesterol is not the factor in high serum cholesterol, YET they still keep pushing this garbage as fact and people still listen. people have high cholesterol because they are sedentary as PISS and have too much BF%

people should have enough common sense to know that not all SAT fats are equal and not all Cholesterol is equal, same as proteins and carbs. there are many different sources. but people listen to "docs" and "scientists" rather then time tested life experiences and common sense. there is a reason why eating a massive steak makes you feel like a man. its packed full of sat fat, creatine, protein, and cholesterol. that = a MAN. dont get me wrong tuna and chicken have their place, i eat it all the time but nothing to me beats BEEF in my book, and it has the most complete amino acid profile per g of protein.

even Cows that eat Grain as opposed to Cows that grass feed all day will provide different sources of fats. its always best to keep it at the basic level, how it was created to be. and Grass Fed beef/butter/milk is always said to be the Prime quality.

Protein Factory’s Mod6 Carb™ all-grain carbohydrate food is an exciting breakthrough in energy, metabolic, lean muscle and strength nutrition! Mod6 Carb™ conveniently and affordably delivers many lean body- and physical Performance-supporting features in a delicious matrix:

“Real Fuel”: The intact structure of Mod6 Carb™’s complex carbohydrates allows it to release glucose, the body’s number-one fuel source, at a more natural pace and rhythm compared to simple sugars or maltodextrin. Mod6 Carb™ formulations help avoid the hypoglycemic “sugar crash” often experienced from products containing simple carbohydrates and sugars. This is a real advantage for athletes in training, for dieters who want to dodge those sudden, panic-filled cravings, or for individuals who have been experiencing the “energy dip” during the day.

“Intact Nutrition”: Today everyone recognizes the value of whole food nutrition. Mod6 Carb™ is a complete food product in a whole-grain matrix. The macronutrients in Mod6 Carb™ are a whole food source of complex carbohydrates, protein, and essential fatty acids. Compare this with maltodextrin, a high-glycemic index carbohydrate produced by the hydrolysis of starch that has been isolated from corn, rice or potato. Maltodextrin has essentially been stripped of its original nutritional value solely for its simple carbohydrate content. This greatly impacts how it is metabolized in the body and how it affects your physical appearance and Performance.

“Protein-Backed”: Unlike maltodextrin and other carbohydrates that have been chemically stripped of much of their original nutritional value, Mod6 Carb™ is densely packed with naturally-occurring macro- and micronutrients, including a “backbone” of proteins supplying a total of 15,331 mg of amino acids per 100 g. Mod6 Carb™ contains 18 different amino acids in total, including all of those required to support tissue protein synthesis in the human body. The protein energy supplied by Mod6 Carb™ may further contribute to its appetite-quenching power.

“Full Spectrum”: Every serving of Mod6 Carb™ contains muscle- and energy sustaining amounts of all three essential macronutrients –carbohydrates, proteins and fats—all derived from an expertly proportioned blend of six whole grains. Practically speaking, it would be exceptionally difficult to obtain such a diversified blend of grains from the diet alone.

“Active and Soluble”: Beta-glucans’ health benefits are driven by their viscosity, which in turn is dependent on their solubility (ability to dissolve in solution) and on the weight of their molecules. As intended, Protein Factory' patented Trim® technology effectively concentrates the beta-glucan molecules with no loss of molecular weight or biological activity. This has been confirmed by USDA researchers (12). Consequently, Mod6 Carb™ is readily soluble. Other manufacturers use chemicals or enzymes to extract beta-glucan. This causes the molecules to break down (depolymerization), resulting in a loss of molecular weight, solubility, viscosity and health benefits.

“EFA-Backed”: Mod6 Carb™ contains naturally-occurring polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids, including those of the omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 families. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are considered essential to the human diet. Other carbohydrates common to dietary supplements and functional foods (e.g. maltodextrin and starches) contain no essential fatty acids (EFAs).

Then its got EFA's and also a patented dried flax oil powder. THis shits nothing but 100% usable muscle building calories. What we have created is just sick. I am impressed with my self on this one guys... The worlds first ever lean bulking shake..
