how can someone notice the difference between the 2 or is this something a doctor has to diagnose ?

Jack, I don't have time to read through the entire thread but there's good news. A co-worker of mines mother just had cataract surgery which I'm sure you know is usually caused by maculor degeneration. It was a day surgery and of course they do one eye at a time. They literally give your eye a new lens and the recovery time is very low. I believe there is massive amounts of hope for you my friend that would ultimately give you near perfect vision due to the lense replacement. It's not like lasix for your eyes that's just re shaping the existing lense. For this particular surgery the replace the lense. Look into it and keep us updated.

Damn Jack....I'm late in here but fuck man. I've actually never once heard about this with AAS use so it's all news to me.

ya bro for sure, high BP is also another one of many way that steroids can cause this. Keeping BP under control is definitely important. Keep us updated with what the doctors advise
My mom is currently undergoing surgeries to correct narrow angle closure glaucoma, they have been performing laser peripheral iridotomy. Not the same exact thing, but they have come a very long way with current eye surgery procedures so its very hopeful. The doctor told us less than 10 years ago they were not even close to what the capabilities are of today
I just made it through the whole thread & that's cool there was a happy ending.I was googling "macular degeneration bodybuilders" trying to find a huge juicing pro that went blind from steroids & couldn't find squat.
