Macular degeneration

A second opinion never hurts, but I don't think it's hard for a doctor to see macular degeneration of the eye.

No I agree on the diagnosis...but The way Jack's talking they're not offering a treatment other than laying off the juice..I know Jack Shit about this condition so Idk if it's treatable, reversible, or what

Why would they offer treatment if they know a drug he is using can cause this ? First thing they would advise is to come off that drug unless the risk for being off TRT outweighs the risk of being blind.

Do you have primary or secondary hypogonadism ? How long were you hypogonadal before you began self administered TRT ? And have you ever attempted to come off TRT before ? You may have to disclose these things to your doctor bro, they can help you. Do you trust your current doctor ?

I have VA healthcare and I don't trust that they won't fuck me over if I tell them. It may not be trt at all. I actually think it's stress and stress hormones because t started almost immediately after I went back on adderall after 10 years. I drink tons of caffeine on top of adderall and my life is just stressful in general then PTSD on top of that and I'm afraid they won't cover my eyes if I tell them I've been on this long. Plus I lied when I got on adderall about it already so I'm stuck with that. I told them I did steroids a few years in the past though. I've never been diagnosed hypogonadal but I've been on several years without coming off. My last pct I didn't feel right after so I just went back on. I think it should be fine if I don't blast for a while and let it get better. They say it often can go away but steroids or stress can make it worse.

true it may not be TRT at all, but you have to think that since steroids and TRT can cause this and since you are using them that there is a chance that it could be right ? there are several drugs that can cause vision impairment, are you using any besides steroids ? if youve never been diagnosed hypogonadal you may not even be hypogonadal, even being on for a long time. there are many things you have going on here bro, your best option is to find a doctor and disclose the truth. i can only advise you the best i can, the doctors have the best chance of helping. seek a doctor outside the VA if that makes you feel more comfortable

True..but he's also jacked and they looking for a scape goat to blame it on

She definitely jumped to that right away. And since it's VA they would love to blame it on me. Malaria drugs also can cause it. Benedryl can cause it as well. Both I've been exposed to. God knows what the anthrax vaccine did to us all. They are sending me to an outside specialist so I will see what he says. I've been juicing for 8 years and then all of a sudden I start adderall and BAM my right eye starts going. I really think it's the stress i.e. Stress hormones and cortisol from stims and adderall together. Because my eyes have gradually gotten better and better over the last 5 years until just now. I think the aas actually improved my vision honestly. Bu shit like crappy generic amphetamines the government hands out for free jut screams dangerous to me.

Apparently androgen replacement therapy causes it through blood clotting but I don't speculate that's what I have.

Keep us posted bro. Hopefully you'll recover

Good luck Jack i really wish you the best, i want you to find your solace and resolve as soon as possible. One thing i hope you do not do is sell yourself short and not recognize that steroids and TRT can cause this as well. That would be a disservice to yourself and i wouldnt feel right if i didnt at least tell you this, god bless brother

I will maybe tell the specialist. If they think it's that then I'll see about doing an extensive pct and see what happens. My first instinct was that it is steroids but I've also been getting improved vision gradually over 5 years. I have to keep getting weaker glasses. The last 8 years I went through a bad divorce and then a crappy stripper gf, then knocking up my kids' mom twice and fighting with her for 5 years and then she left me, then falling in love again and she left me and baby momma trying to take the kids and getting me thrown in jail etc. it's been a fucked up last couple years especially. The stress makes sense to me. I'm definitely dropping to trt at least until I have another opinion.

Thanks man I'm not counting that out as the possibility. I think it's that or stress. It can be corrected through laser surgery so maybe they can just fix it and make it simple. I really don't know too much yet about the possibilities.

Man... sorry to hear that bro. Hope the best for you. Sucks when issues come up with any of our senses. Most don't realize how important all of them are. Vision is a big deal. Definitely keep it safe bud. Hope everything works out.

Mac is hereditary
Generally light eyes affected
Female offspring more likely to get it
Blood pressure elevation can cause pressure within the eyes
Control of bp might decrease the effect on the eye

Yeah I heard that. Hopefully I can get it back to normal.
I have brown eyes though. BP could definitely be my problem.

ya bro, could be one or the other, could be both, or could be something completely different. Process of elimination and your doctors will be the best at helping you with that. Im just glad you said that this could be corrected with surgery i was unaware of that. Thats a good thing. Keep us posted
