Knee Problems!! AAHHHH

My right knee has always given me problems. (I had surgery on it when I was 13.) The last few days it has been particularly sore. I never felt like I had hurt it. No pop or tear. I went to the doctor and of course I’ll be having a MRI, but he’s pretty sure that I have a tear in my meniscus. And the cartilage under my patella is almost gone.

My question is for those that have had knee problems. What are you able to do in the gym without further injuring your knee, yet still working your legs?

Leg exstensions and calf raises

AND STOP OVER TRAINING!!!!

I've been very fortunate to have not had any injuries. So, I'm not the best to answer this. However, if it were me, I'd take it very easy and probably just lay off the legs until you get that MRI. I know that really sucks bad but if you damage it further that would suck a whole lot more. Your knee health is extremely important, especially if you're relatively young. That makes for a lot more years with pain not too mention it could carry over into your career causing work difficulties. If you do decide to work your legs make sure you wrap it up tight.

These are the two things that bothered my knee the most! lol (standing calf raises--I was being dumb and not allowing play in my knees).

For some reason squats did not bother my knees. I honestly think you need 743 caps of n2guard taken every 6.34 hours ;)

In all seriousness, experiment (lightly) and find what bothers you the least. Everyone is different, and hopefully you can find something that fits the bill until you're 100% again!

Knees are tricky. I had knee surgery when I was 19 and had my meniscus removed in my right knee. I thought he was fucking with me when he told me. But I did a lot of walking and biking and was able to make a pretty complete recovery. I still g et pain but not nearly what it used to be. Like phurious eluded to.. take it easy

Have you tried incorporating mk2866 to see if that helps your knee pain ?

i have torn my meniscus before when i took a shot from someone direct on it while i was a receiver playing football.. in all honesty, its an injury they let heal on its own but it takes time and it can be quite painful... training on it is only going to delay the healing process.. its generally 4-6 weeks to really get healed... it can be a strange injury because you can be walking forward just fine and the slightest move left or right can bring you to your knees in pain... its not something to take lightly because its leaves your knee far more susceptible to a much larger injury, particularly with your acl, mcl and pcl which you DO NOT WANT TO HAVE HAPPEN... in all honesty, and i know this is a very hard thing to do, you to rest, keep it elevated and not put any more weight on it than necessary... its just the facts and i KNOW how hard that is to do but i am giving you the best advice as a friend and for your best chances of healing much quicker...
