I can't eyeball my macros for shit!

I just realized after eating this....

...that I always underestimate my macros by a lot. Apparently that's 110g of protein I just ate. Am I crazy!?!? I've been eating more than I think for a long time. 16oz of chicken there. Yikes, I really need to get a good scale.
 
If you are frustrated with the count, you can send that meal this way and I'll dispose of it properly...

I went through the same dilemma 4 years ago when I got a food scale and really started tracking macros. Found out I was eating like 14oz of chicken a meal instead of 8, so I was getting over 400g of protein per day.

I can't stress the importance of food weighing enough until you get a good grasp on what you're really taking in

Yes the same. Some times I can't eat fuck'n chicken, and eat fuck'n junk food:) but this one time in month:)

You're not kidding! I had no idea I was so far off. No wonder I can't shit half the year lmao!
 
Scales are cheap.I have a couple in my kitchen & even a pocket size one I can take with me.I've been there.It's really hard to eyeball weight...exactly anyway.
 
I ate a whole rotisserie chicken last night...

Oh god! So did I!! And do not even get me started on Navajo Tacos with Indian Fry Bread

Just take smaller bites & add a whole shitload of lettuce.You can eat a whole popcorn bowl of lettuce & it's like 16 cal(DQMOT)
 
its basically impossible to eyeball things like that unless you are a fucking stickler like i am... i can get 8 oz. pretty much on the dot now but thats because i have been using a scale so long... just go to bed bath and beyond and get one there... they have some really good ones and you can get a really nice one for $50 or less...
 
I weighed spinach by the gram and almost shit how much you can eat for 20 calories

That goes for any greens pretty much. I don't even count those. Not worth it at all. Set all of that stuff you want. It actually is a thermogenic food with green veggies because it takes your body more energy to digest it that is contained in its contents.

No fucking way that's 110g of protein. 16oz of cooked chicken breast? I guess I can't eyeball either. Yea dude after taking a second look I would have guessed like 80g. No way it looks like 110g
