Sounds like there maybe other underlying issues that you may be unaware of or you might just not be telling us.
Either way it doesn't sound like you're very happy. Keeping things together for the kid is admirable but sometimes joint custody is easier.
Tell her this is your lifestyle and she needs to support it or not say anything.
She doesn't have to do it and has no right to be so critical over something that you're passionate about.
Most women find guys who do anything it takes to reach their goals sexy.
Next time she says something negative tell her she must not want to get married in 2017 because you can't listen to that type of negativity the rest of your life.
