Hi im 23 years old
142lbs at 10% body fat
5'5
Have done a test only 12 week cycle with pct
I want to start my next cycle in april but my physique competition is in november
Still wanna add a bit of size and then do a contest prep shred. What would be the best way to do that
 
In my opinion you are still too young to be doing cycles. You have a low enough weight that with better nutrition and exercise you could build a solid foundation. Someone here may help but i'm sure most will tell you to try harder. Steroids are for going past you're limits not building up to them.
 
would another cycle of test be just as effective
i am in no rush and would rather start with the bare minimum
 
Nutrition is going to play a big part of you gaining size. At your age and stats you should be able to do that with the proper coaching (which seems impossible to find)

Well, right now steroids are out of the question because you are just too young man. However. There are alternatives available to you. Have you considered sarms? They can be very effective for both bulking up adding lean mass and shredding bodyfat and hardening up for competition.

I'll give you two different stocks perfect for both goals. Also with sarms you don't need to take a lot of time off before starting another cycle since they don't carry the side effects and suppression of steroids. After pct is complete, you can start another sarms stack in two to three weeks

142 at 10% at his height is decent sized for men's physique, and hopefully he will show a pic that will display that

i cant possibly recommend steroid use to someone this age... i know some people could care less and would say "ah fuck it, dont be a pussy" etc. but people that say that are the pussies... they are knowingly putting someone in harms way... if that's not a coward and a pussy, i dont know what is.. you can do what you want bro, noone here is your dad and that's the last thing im trying to be but i have an obligation to teach you the right way as well as everyone else reading and i dont give a fuck if your doing a contest or not, that doesn't make it okay to use steroids at that age... im sorry, but i personally cant help with that... if you want to use other methods, like sarms, i can absolutely help... thats a completely different scenario and perfectly fine at your age but steroids are most certainly not...

I didn't mean anything by it man... I just don't know what 5' 5" and 142 looks like from a muscularity standpoint. I'm not a physique guy so his proportions seem "small but big" if that makes sense. I'll just stay off these physique posts and nullify my curiosity bro. Perhaps my wording makes me sound bias, but the intent was to visualize the proportions. There's obviously a weight class for this so it has to look presentable. Shazzz disregard my request, hope you didn't take it the wrong way bro.

Today is just one of those days where everything I say is misconstrued.

Haha, hey it's all good bro. It took me a while to get it in my head about these kind of proportions too, but after competing I saw a lot of guys in the short class for men's physique at 130-140 lbs and as much as it sounds really small the guys actually carry a decent amount of muscle on their frame. So assuming the OP is right on his bodyfat it's actually not that small. The nu,bets look fucked up because of how short he is.

My opinion as a physique competitor;

One has to diet down to (in my opinion) a pretty low stage weight. My last show I had more muscle than I had in the previous 2........but I was probably on state @ MAX of a buck-60.

Meaning the OP is going to have to add a good amount of weight based on his stats (even @ 5'5) then diet down to stage condition. This could take a good 12-18 months.

P.S. 44; MPD is based on height and age (not weight)

Should i start the sarm cycle next month and stay off for a while and then proceed with my on season or would it be preferable if i do a off season, bridge and then an on season close to my show
