I've always counted everything, they add up.When you count carbs do you count the carbs in things like avocados or natural peanut butter ? Or even vegetables ? I never have so idk if this would make a difference. When I count carbs I count starch. Veges i don't even count as calories .

Count all your carbs bro. I don't care if it's fibrous carbs, etc....they all count as macros
