Scar tissue has built up, rotate sites.
Quads (basically where your hands would be if in your pockets), side delts, VG. Rest your glutes for a couple of months.
The gauge is fine. I think that's what I use. I draw with a 18guage n pin with a 24 I think. But they are 1.5" in length.. I also had the same problem around week 11 and I would switch from right to left but had to try quads to give the glutes a break. The needle wasn't poking through the skin so easy on the glutes anymore
