Back at it

So I'm 6 days out now. About as low as I can get in terms of bf and I feel like shit. Zero carbs for a couple weeks and none until Friday after weighin. I'm about 5 pounds overweight right now and looking to be 3.5-4 pounds over on Friday morning. I have early checkin Friday at 6pm then we are doing a massive cheat meal afterwards. Very excited for that. Here's a couple pics from the past couple days.

I'll be doing open light heavyweight bb and open classic physique division b. Wish me luck fam!!!

Did you loose any muscle during your calorie deficit?

A little sizefor sure in areas. My quads took a hit from the cardio and the t3, which we tried t avoid using but I wasn't losing weight. I was recomping on 2000 cal. Now we are at 1500 cal and zero carb for the final stretch. But cardio is lowered and we are gonna let diet take over now. Doing about 25 min of cardio a day just to keep metabolism spiked and food moving. I'm confident with the intense prep I've gone through and the fact that I've been 5% or less for over a month already that I'm going to have a pretty phenomenal rebound

You look amazing bro...despite the fact I can tell you are a little flat from the low carb intake. Regardless, the conditioming is there, and I can see your glutes are in and striated. I'd say you nailed it.

Good luck at the show and keep us updated on how everything goes for you buddy!

Thanks bro. I'm fantasizing about my carb up on Friday. We did a test run to see if I'd spill over last week and I ate 350g of carbs in two meals (definitely not clean carbs) and I was tighter and harder the next morning and only up 2.5 pounds. I'm literally salivating right now thinking about cream of rice with maple strup and ice cream over waffles, with a double burger and fries

fucks sake you look amazing bro and i dont say that often to anyone... wow, just wow... im way past impressed, NOT that i ever second guessed you but just absolutely phenomenal and just a GREAT example of how to do this right... im so damn proud of you man

Thank you Dylan. This shit is NOT easy. Lemme tell you... as I'm sure you know from experience... but EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE has been affected by this prep. My work, my home life, my friendships etc...everything has been stressed and strained and thank GOD my girl has been there to support me because a lot of times I wanted to just give in and say fuck it... this shut isn't worth it. But I appreciate everyone's encouragement and I hope I can inspire others to reach their full potential and help in any way I can.

Hey bro....trust me. I understand completely! Prep is no joke and it takes a toll on everything. I remember nearly throwing in the towel myself when I thought it was putting too much strain on my marriage and my work. I just wasn't a joyous person to be around and basically avoided all social interactions for quite awhile. It's a living hell so I can relate.

I'm glad to see you stick it out. You're just about to the finish line....best of luck to you brother! Kill it!

i completely understand... ive been living it for countless years continuously and it eventually gets to be too much when it starts affecting your mood and attitude towards your loved ones... i completely understand... its such a huge sacrifice that most cannot comprehend...

But I'm hoping it's all worth it. I'm confident it will be.
thats the beauty of it though bro, it is... the sense of accomplishment alone is worth it, knowing you have these kind of capabilities... like i said before, im just really proud of you man

So today I hit 189.2. Flat as fucking pancake but still got a decent pump on chest day designed for pump. Those who know me know I generally hover around 205-210 and under 10% bf so to hit 189 is insane for me. I honestly can't wait to get big again. This is definitely my last season doing classic unless they increase weight limits or I grow a few inches. 3 days out now.

Tomorrow is weighin and refeed. I'm about 3.5 pounds of water away from weight. Very happy about this. I can't wait to get on stage and begin my offseason. I've made a deal with myself that if I win the overall at this show I will do nationals this year in 4 weeks. It just sucks that I'll essentially have to continue this prep another month but I definitely want that pro card.

The day to weighin is finally here. I'm 3 pounds over still but from now until 6pmis plenty of time to shed some water safely. I'm feeling res good about where I'm at in terms of conditioning and I can't wait to see everything fill up tomorrow. Hopefully it all goes according to plan and I come in full, hard and dry like I know I can.
