2018 Prep

So I woke up today after a few days of very low to zero carbs and I’m 198.6. Yessssssssssss. Although I kinda feel like I’m about to die and every single fiber of my body aches. Haha. But we are still making progress and that’s what counts. Heading to see my coach for training and posing in Saturday and eager for him to see the changes in person, especially after a dirty cheat meal tomorrow after chest day. I respond really well to nasty greasy cheat meals when I’m in a caloric deficit and depleted of glycogen.
 
Here’s some pics at 198.6. Mind you I’m very flat here and just exhausted. Can’t wait to make weight and fill out

So we did a trial carb up this weekend starting with a dirty cheat meal and then clean carbs all day Friday. It went really well. I maintained condition and digestion and felt really good. I got up to about 205 and could probably fill out a little more even but I’d rather be a little flat than risk spilling.

It was really good but after all is said and done I’m weighing 209 right now. Scary thought. But I had a burger with ham Swiss bacon on Texas toast and another burger called a “fat cat” that has onion rings, a chicken tender cheddar bacon ketchup and mayo. Two orders of fries. Both burgers 8oz angus medium rare. Ughhhhhhh they were so good. This weekend I’ll be doing another trial so I’m gonna do things a little different

Damn dude lol. I know how them cheats can go pack on the weight in a hurry when you've been depleting all your stores so long. I remember being 4 weeks out and had a much needed cheat....gained 12 lbs in one day and I freaked out lol.

Yeah time to get back down to depletion and get leaner this time around. I gotta get down to 197 this week at some point to get my refeed. I was 208 this morning

So here we are. I’m 4 days out and right on track with where we wanted to be in terms of weight. 196.2 with 2.5 days to get down to weight and tighten up even more. I feel pretty good given the circumstances but I’m very dry already and my muscles are definitely a little crampy.
