Yea, I'm guessing maybe when I trained legs it did something. It mainly aches now in my lower back and hams when I'm stretching my hams. Tight muscles or something maybe.
Hey, so I started adding 2 things to my regimen. Tongkat Ali and Maca. It's the second day i've taken them together, with my multivitamin. Today I noticed I have what I'm guessing are back pumps/leg pumps. Like, I've had this happen once before, but it was worse because i'm pretty sure it was...
Sooooooooo she initially said she wants to see where the prolactin is in 6 months. After I said in one way or another that the time frame is too long, she said 3 months. She's basically only concerned if it's still elevated to check for a tumor. Afterward I said, well isn't high prolactin...
Right, I understand that even just 1% is a pretty big increase. But, the bioavailable T difference is so huge because your total T is much higher though right? If I had your same stats at my total T level, the bioavailable T still wouldn't even be close since the TT level is low.
Is there...
Cool. Let me know.
total T- ng/dL
free T- pg/mL
albumin- g/dL
SHBG- nmol/dL
Also, in bold on the test it says "The Total Testosterone test was developed and its performance characteristics determined
by the UCH Section of Clinical Chemistry. It has not been approved by the FDA." Seems odd lol.
Question, why is this one called "calculated" free test? The others were done at a different place, and also gave the %free calculation. Is it just an equation to get this result?
Took awhile for the results but here they are!
LH- 5.9
FSH- 2.1
SHBG- 54
Total test- 582
calculated free test- 143
estrogen- 23 (Their range starts at 27)
albumin- 4.4
prolactin- 16.99 (range ends at 15.2)
Thought she wasn't gonna do prolactin again, but she did.
Estrogen came back lower...
Never heard of it either, just looked it up. Says its to oppose the action of estrogen...But your estrogen is already in single digits on the last one, so I'm not sure thats what you need. Probably need a full pct. Wait for some other guys to chime in though, not positive on that.
So I lucked out in getting in a cancelled appt. with an endo today.
I showed her all the bloodwork and while she was reading, I explained that I think it's my free test/e2/prolactin giving me my problem. I was surprised that she had to check out my boys like urologist did, as well as the rest...
Soooooooo, he called and said that he spoke to the endo about it and said that my levels might just be "my" normal, and that there's probably no issue with it. When he said that I didn't really know what to say. I should've asked then whats the point in having a range??
I also just asked him...
He only had the prolactin checked, I thought about telling him to check test and e2 also but didn't :/.
If he doesn't say anything should be wrong or that it's just slightly elevated so it shouldn't affect anything, i'm going to just straight up tell em that I think the problem is my free...
Just got my prolactin checked again, it was 16.69.... Going to see what the urologist will say about it now since it was technically out of the range but now it's def. outta the range completely.
