i agree, modern is too bubble gut now. But dude you should really check out Peter Molnar. for a modern bodybuilder I actually like his physique. it is massive yet still V taper and tight waist. very aesthetic. he has probably one of my favorite modern physiques, at least that i have seen so far.

also Cedric McMillan and shawn roden are pretty close to aesthetic for todays BBers.

I would agree with you that Shawn Rhodden does have good aesthetics for his size. However, that was shown in the recent Olympia to have slipped. His waist was a little bigger, and it was noticeable that he gained some good size since last Olympia and his aesthetics have paid the price for it
 
zane,flex wheeler, bob paris .. not the mass monsters of today, they look gross to me.Although flex was pretty fuxin big
 
My line up in no particular order:

lee haney (the reason I got into BB), sadik hazovick (modern day frank zane aka ideal physique), andreas munzer (heart of a warrior/ insane conditioning), frank zane (master illusionist... king of aestetics), sergio oliva (the myth... aka arnold's worst nightmare), shawn clarida (giant killer... give him a couple more years to keep filling out his frame dude is insane) :)

yeah shawns gut did slip, i noticed that too..its unfortunate..

cedric went to hospital, i was excited to see his condition..

i listed a few earlier. one of my current favorite modern physiques is Peter Molnar. savage tight waist with massive muscle bellies

other then that maybe cedric mcmillan or shawn rhoden.

I really like bonac probably the most underrated bb, cedric for his classic physique, macarter, great potencial, rhoden and phil when he won his first olympia...
