Work each muscle twice a week?

if your lifting longer than 45 minutes to 1 hour then there is a major problem with your training... your either talking too much, resting too long or simply overtraining... you should be hitting it as hard as possible, with minimal rest in between sets and should be fried after that amount of time in there... 30-45 seconds max in between sets... you should be building muscular endurance as well as strength and size...

I also agree with this as well. I'll never understand the guys spending 2 plus hours in the gym every day, yet they are spinning their wheels and not progressing. That should tell the, right there that what they are doing isn't working and it's time to change something

Shit I go workout about 45 min lol. Full hour if I add another muscle group.

So how did my post disappear?

i just looked in moderated posts because this happens at time when someone else in the thread was identified as a spammer... i had this happen twice already today with two of my own that i had to release but you dont have anything in there... i have no clue... just repost it... it may just not have went through
 
I do things very simple, full body workouts 3 days a week bench 3× squat 2× deadlifts 1× and then a optional ushally done dedicated back day. Alternate between Bi and tri's each workout as a fisher. Mostly compound lifts with a few assesories thrown in.

My routine is fairly simple:
Day 1: Legs
Day 2: Shoulders
Day 3: Arms
Day 4: Legs (modified)
Day 5: Back and Chest
Weekends off

This is a new routine for me given to me by a bb I know. I actually intensified it a bit by adding/eliminating some exercises they did/didn't do. Legs days are brutal, but hurt so damn good, same for Arms day, on Shoulders though it takes a day to really feel that it did something. My old shoulder routine was a bit more painful, but I got tired of aching for 2-3 days due to the pinched nerves in my neck. This routine really requires discipline on my part because I'm not the type that likes to wait to workout and want to squeeze in additional body parts because I feel so good after my routine as far as the pump.
