You cannot deselect it until you actually have an avatar bro. Look just below that. You need to use that to either upload a photo from your computer or use a Web address to upload a pic

i understand its not the same as an avatar. when i go to edit avatar it will not let me uncheck do not use avatar. its no big deal i wont have an avatar if its more complicated than this

I see you changed your profile pic though..

Avatar go to Settings at the top right>Edit avatar is on the left side half way down or so. It is on mine.

All I have ever seen since I joined the forum

you have to have 3 posts before you can PM but hit RR or TX up when you do with ur pic and they will get you hooked up brother
