I used to buy these all the time...............would go all primal on them...............eat the whole thing, no utensils. These days my appetite is much less and I use flatware. Maybe one of these days I will go old skool on one and get my Man Card reissued to me.

Anyway, strip it down and weigh what you have or weigh it beforehand, tear it up, then weigh the carcass.

I agree. You get them from the food mart, they are still hot. By the time you get home, it is perfect temp to devour!!

Yup...I yank the skin off them and go to town...A year or so ago, when I was bulking I was eating 2-3 chickens like that a day....I am at about 9k-10k calories a day right now but kinda gave up on the poultry. ...it just doesn't fill me up the same as beef or buffalo

It seems like when I get them they are too greasy sometimes. So I tend to shy away from them

I'm on the chicken a day diet! Used to buy the grocery store rotisserie daily, but now I just cook my own. It's alot cheaper, and I get a variety of flavors now. I cook two, every other day. Only takes an hour in the oven.

they are. I'd be more likely to eat them on the off season when I can afford the extra fat. On the off season, I eat anything i want.

Well unless you measure your food by trimmed and cooked weight you can never be certain.

Publix will cut them for you I get them too cut me just the breast then grab a pack of those flax low carb pitas and an avacodo makes some nice wraps if you eat thr whole thing with the skin though theres a ton of fat calories lkke 2400 total cals per chicken id say 180 too 200 grams of protien depending on size of the chicken the rest is fat

Yea that's what I do.. just eat the bitch like a cave man! That's why I was wondering.. U ain't got time to cut and weigh...I'm a beast lol

Never actually ate one of them rotisserie chickens. I'm sure they taste great but probably a little pricey I assume.

Can't beat buying chicken breasts in bulk

I buy bulk boneless skinless chicken breasts from Sam's. I grill about 8 at a time and a bunch of rice and potatoes. Make a bunch of meals now. Helps a lot.

Yup...do the same thing....cook chicken breasts and Cod filets for the week....eat 6-8 breasts a day and 24 oz of cod....prepping on the weekend is crucial or I will end up eating something I shouldn't. It sucks up the whole Sunday though

Exactly what I do also. As a matter of fact, today is the day I'll be cooking up about 7 breasts, a ton of sweet potatoes and rice, and a lot of broccoli. Sunday ritual lol

Same. I used to get the 10 pound bags of Tyson boneless skinless chicken breasts but they had rib meat and tons of fat on them so I switched to these 6.5 pound bags of chicken breasts (same brand) that are individually wrapped. A bit pricier but there's less waste so I think the cost is about the same. Apparently you can buy actual bulk chicken breasts for even cheaper but need to commit to like 50+ pounds. Maybe if I get a giant freezer I'll do that one day.

By the way, you guys should try this sauce out if you like General Gau's/Tso's chicken: View attachment 2231 I usually throw some on grilled chicken and it tastes great with rice.
I love that sauce but way too much sodium for me. Like 240mg in 2 tbsp. ..doesnt sound like much for most people but gotta watch the blood pressure....refuse to go on pills and control it pretty well naturally.
