Ya idk why. its kinda wierd. Idk how its possible actually to be stronger with close grip. my wrists take a beating though. I can bench 315 for 12-15 reps but I ca Close Grip 315 20-30 no problem. I dont have weak shoulders or anything and my chest is fairly strong. Maybe being more compact gives a benifit. idk. I dont really max anymore though so my bench probably wont improve much.
