Anyone else having issues recently with USPS? I placed an order (Domestic) and the tracking stated "In transit to the next facility. Arriving late-your package will arrive later than expected", etc. It's been in that status since Oct 7. We are at Oct 23rd now. Any suggestions? Should I go down to local post office to inquire and see if they can find out what's going on, or will they just refer to the tracking info?

I have not had any issues on anything i have ordered, shoes, office things etc.. not sure what you ordered or from who etc... but my normal orders through usps have had zero issues...
unfortunately 1-2% of packages get lost/stolen/burned in transit. happens with any shipping company. fedex, ups its 2-3%.
its probably sitting in a bin somewhere in a truck and hopefully they will eventually find it and get it moving for you. depending on the source you used they usually will reship for you if you don't see anything after a month

I would just give it more time. Sometimes it can end up on the wrong truck or any other host of things.
I’d say give it sometime. I’ve had them lost like that before and then boom it’s there
