Unexplained Body fat increase

For the last 14 wks my gains have been SICK! I went from 14% down to 9% with an 8lbs increase on top of that, around 18lbs lean mass gains total. Within the last 2wks i have shot up 3-4% bodyfat...I took about 4-5 days off in bed recovering from a dog bite, no infection, just pretty bad bruising. I didn't drop weight at all. I don't want to contribute it to muscle atrophy because nothing seems wasted, at the most i dropped a couple lbs but picked it right back up. I'm almost thinking that the guy doing the 7 pinch didn't do it right cuz it wasn't the normal guy who did it. I'm starting to be concerned about increased estrogen or progesterone but i've been running my A.I. I just don't know whats going on, if anything my vascularity is improving...i'm almost starting to think this was a false read...need some input fellas, appreciated as always.
 
Well if your overall TDEE lowered and your caloric intake remained the same, it is possible that you gained body fat. I wouldn't worry about it too much as you know how to get back to where you were. Just get back at it and hit it hard :).

This could be attributed to a number of factors, but don't get wrapped up in the scale. Even body fat, measurements can get thrown off quite a bit from fluid fluctuation, etc.....

However, with that said, depending on diet as well as other things it's possible you put some body fat back on. Try not to get too worried about it. Just make adjustments needed to give you the outcome you desire

when you pinch yourself or say jump up and down, do you see more fat movement? its very possible it was a bad read one time or another as well... also, when you get a reading, it depends on whether you have eaten, had water, etc... there's a lot of factors... i highly doubt you gained that kind of body fat in just 2 weeks unless you were slamming terrible food etc... unless you have some other internal issue, its very unlikely...

could high blood pressure have influenced this? I'm at a loss bro...to me i keep track on my front delt vein that runs to my bicep and i can see the vascularity increasing there. Thats y i know this is bullshit...my diet is clean so i know thats not it...on top of that i have O.C.D. so this is gonna be in my head for awhile
 
Bioimpedance machines measure BF by measuring tissue density. Fat is less dense than anything else. If you were well hydrated, or had more glycogen (say after a carb up) you may have increased the amount of dense tissue you have. This is an artifact of this type of measurement. More water=more water in muscle=more LBM= lower BF and the other way around.

9 too 12 percent is a very noticable differance bro if you fluxcuated this much you wouldn't question it you would know when you look in the mirror . and when you under 10 percent bodyfat calipers are only good for tracking progress dont rely on the number too be acurate when im a true 9 percent the calipers tell me im like 4 percent . a true 9 percent is well defind abs and visible obliques and some quad seperation

see all you just told me lets me know that somethings fucked up and it ain't me...the only thing i can contribute it to was it was first thing in the morning after a large breakfast
