Mid 40's, 5'10, 160 pounds, showing signs of low T. Been researching and checking prices, blood work cost between 200-400 dollars, DR visits, 300-600 dollars. 10ml test c $140, 10ml deca, if wanted for joint pain, $240. Man I would be money ahead to do my own blood work and get test from the community sponsors. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

lol you would be paying 20% of that doing it on your on buying from sources here and paying for blood work online

Don't you have insurance? Trt is relatively cheap after insurance is applied but it also depends on where you go too

(PM me for a price list for Biotech Labs and 10% discount)

when starting TRT...including the diagnosis of being hypogonadal...you need the consul of a GOOD endocrinologist
NOT A TRT CLINIC !!!
TRT is more complicated than just pinning Test....it can take awhile to get all your hormones in balance
a good endo can guide you thru it..later after you are "settled in" you can do your own monitoring and see the dr maybe once a yr

All decent doctors will write you a script (not make you purchase from them)and you can buy your Test where ever you want..including sponsors here
walk out the door of any doctor that wants to sell you Test or says HE has to do the injections

Like RR stated TRT is very inexpensive, I pay $70 for full blood work, $15 for 10ml Test C and $10 for Arimidex
The doctors visit are a bit pricey because I don't have a co pay anymore because I switched insurance companies.
Overall it's not expensive at all.

If you can't afford legit prescriptions then contact a source here. I'm using Robo's Test C and it's g2g.

I have Kaiser provided through my work, and everything is a fight. 8 weeks is a long time to wait for blood tests. I don't know if its worth the frustration.

One clinic I found in Santa Monica was the most expensive. They will write a script, or test from their Pharmacy is $80. Not too bad, but they had the $400 blood tests and $600 dollar Dr visits.

Who's are the recommended Doctors in California?

You're going to have to look around for a good doctor.
He will order a blood test, you will take it to a local clinic for blood draw and they process it through your insurance.
You can get your medication anywhere like Walmart, RiteAid etc..

Call your insurance company and ask for in network doctors/clinics and ask for payment prices.
I don't have a co-pay so I have to pay for an office visit up front, but everything else is covered under my insurance and I pay a deductible.

you dont have insurance? evem if you had to find a private doctor to get the script, get bloodwork done first. Once you labs show low t, the insurance will help pay

I'm on TRT and the 100MG 10ml bottle of TEST CYP in like 30.00 till I reach my out of pocket max.. Then it free!!!
