Stopping Bench Press for 2 months???

You got it dead on. I try to relay this to my clients and I can never explain it simply to where they understand what I mean. In fact I was just hearing jay cuttler explaining this last night in a BB.com video.... Flyes are crucial. He was saying this is how underdeveloped chests usually happen. Hit the pec deck and cable flyes like a mad man.

i cant tell you how much cable work as well as trx i do and its huge on your chest... i do chest twice a week and often i take a day where i do mostly cable work... im constantly changing each week but cables are huge and they offer so many benefits... cables as well as TRX offer so many different ways to hit multiple angles on each muscle... i also am a big fan of hammer strength equipment... its the perfect hybrid of free weight and machine together and extremely beneficial...

i love fucking hammerstrength, the gym on base has primarily every fucking piece of HS there is and i just did chest and cables bottom up and mid level fuckin jacked son my chest is swole up
 
I do this one variation on the plateload incline where I sit sideways and press one arm across the body... sort of a press and fly combined into one motion. I ususlly use it at the end of my chest day

i do the same thing... it hits the pecs at a completely different angle and you feel it deep in there... i love that movement...

I'm a huge fan of hammer strength equipment myself. I use the crap out of everything my gym has from hammer strength.

For sure... Im a huge fan of all the chest and shoulder movements... I hit these hard every week... Theres so many different movements... I remember when hammer strength hit the scene... I was in 8th grade!
 
Damn. I've seen the hammer strength but never had the chance to use them. There isn't any within 45 miles of me.

I'm one of the biggest reasons my gym has the equipment now. I pushed them for years to get it, and finally last year they got a bunch when they replaced a bunch of equipment. Definitely made me a happy camper!!

there are so many different movements you can hit there... they are great for negatives too... i like to hit it very heavy then immediately drop and do a set of negatives with the same movement... its rough but it really hits it hard and there's a lot of control there...

What's that huge gap for? Your butt? lol

So it has room for the back to tilt and the But rest to tilt. But the seat is raised several inches above the back, not to mention the three inches of foam. So it give a nasty back arch when using it. So I just stick my head at the top and don't even use the seat part. Hmmm so yea the gap is pretty close to where my butt goes lol.
