Spam bots

Is there any way to combat these fucking spam bots. One of the little fucker is now using my name to do spam threads.

What do they get out of doing that anyway? They must not have a life? Or is it a computer (bot)? It is pretty annoying.

They are computer bots that spam for business. Just like any other spam

It's a battle man. I know. I delete so much shit every day it drives me nuts. We are doing the best we can with it, but the spam control is improving and will continue to improve

there was already a lot of money to implement blockers etc as you can see it has toned down significantly but its just part o it... it does not matter what forum you are on unless it get's no traffic, then there will not be bots but because we are getting more traffic, they recognize it and they send them this way... trust me, we are doing the very best we can but all the money cannot just be pumped into that... it will be kept to the best minimum it can be and im sorry for the inconvenience bro

When registering? I thought thats what those little quiz things was for?

Oh I agree with you completely there, JM. It pisses me off to no end. They keep finding a way to get in here, but our spam control will be improving further very soon. Until then, I'll keep fighting them!
