I just wanna say holy fuck!!! Running is so gay! Lol. I hate it....
Seriously makes you find that respect for endurance sports again.

I've been a pretty big dude for a while now. Done my cardio here and there but havnt actually gone out on a run for a long long time.

Battling shin splints like a mofo... even my heart is just like fuck youuuu the whole time. I can pretty much feel it straining lol.

Phew... here's to building up some endurance again. Been going out for just a mile or two here and there. On a mission to be able to do 5 in 30. Getting back into some fighting as well here maybe next month to help even further cause lord knows that whooped my ass last time too.

Any tips for this stuff are also much appreciated as always. Lol. I already know it's a matter of just getting my ass up and giving it what I got over and over though... just like the weights.

What is running?

Lmao dude I feel your pain. I went running the other day. Shit man... long distance is not for me. I get my cardio in 3 to 4 days a week, nothing long distance though. Mostly just low intensity incline walking or hitt. Running long distances is a bitch. Shin splints are no fun..

I actually enjoy running, I use that for cardio..it's weird I fuckin hate elipticals and bikes, love the treadmill. I can't explain it bro.....

5 miles in 30 mins is very fast have you ever been able to run that far and fast before ? Also getting back into the scheme of running don't train your mind to run for miles train it for time ... And that should be how you set your goals like today I will run 20 out and 20 in and at the end see how far you made it at your prescribed HR and then the next day or whatever you have planned this works good for me cause if you go all out 90% HR you got nothing left at your "mile" marker training like that is good like once a week but try the time standards and learn to use your heart as a guide HR monitors are cheap . Also are your shin splints upper or lower ? Regardless swiftwick socks and compression socks will hell tramendously and ice never not ice shin splints also do breathing ladder before you actually run to make sure you are opened up

It's just one of those things that will hit you hard at first, but the more you train and work at it, the easier it gets. Just work to keep adding distance and time, and bettering your numbers, and over time you'll see some big improvements. Adding in some GW would do wonders for your endurance as well

I don't run much, and do a lot of incline steady state treadmill or stepmill for cardio. My endurance stays strong, but anytime I add running in generally in the spring and summer while shredding up it hits me pretty hard at first and it's rather difficult. After 2-3 weeks I make some pretty big improvements and it comes back

Hey thanks for the tips man..

Ya 5 in 30 I've done back I'm highschool and stuff. It is not easy. Mainly on grass too.

Now I'm doing either flat runs or on terrain. Terrain there is no way my ass is doing 5 in 30 lol.

Shin splints idk. Just not used to that much blood to the calf maybe.

I like the run for time thing for sure. Il start doing that.

Wow off everything completely, sounds miserable lol. I think the best way to improve your run would be to run 3 days a week(i.e. Mon,wed, fri) on Monday and Wednesday I'd do sprint work and Friday a long distance run. For sprints I'd do 12x100m sprints, 8x 1/8mile sprints, 4 1/4 mil sprints or my favorite workout is sprint 1 mile, sprint 1/2mile and then sprint 2x 1/4mile. I've dropped significant times on my 2 and 5 mile run times using this routine. I'd also probably run MK677 as it does help recovery without affecting your hpta if your coming off everything.

Naw man you're experiencing shin splints cause the muscle is tearing from the bone more then likely cause of your weight and the way your leg feet are impacting the ground the ripple effect on the legs that's why compression socks and shoes change will help keeps everything tight

Make sure you have good shoes to help for shin splints. Also take 2 to 3mg of Taurine it will help with back and calf pumps.

Brooks has good running shoes as well as Saucony.

There is a app ive used called couch to 5k.

Also you can try ratios. 1:1 or 2:1 how ever much you run break it up with a brisk walk.

If found usually what we hate the most is likely what we need the most. When i go to the track ill run a lap and drop and do 20 to 25 pushups just to all a little extra.

Definitely get you some wireless headphones or ear buds

I do a good bit of running, but you are setting yourself up for failure if you make your goal 6 minute miles. You could start by walking for a half hour with a 25 lb weighted vest. Run/walk for fun and try to stay under 3 miles for now. Also do some sprints, 40's, 100's. I run for time not, speed. I really do not know what I run a mile in, but I know it is more than 6 mins. While coming off gear you may want to continue 50mgs clomid eod and aromasin eod along with your sarms stack. Clomid on its own can keep your test up. Pun intended...this is a marathon, and a sprint.
I am posting a link for you to see how this research got guys test up with clomid only.

Sounds good man. Ya the 5 in 30 is the long term goal. Not right out the gate at all. Right now I'm just doing stuff incramentally. No vest, but weighted bag sometimes.

Have clomid and stuff but can't do any of it right now. Itl have to wait for a little bit. I fucked myself in this situation but it's worth it. Clomid is great stuff though. Gonna run bloods here maybe this week and see what's going on and what my windows are to allow certain things.

Unfortuantly I do have to judge distance as well. I like the idea of running for time and will do that more, but distance and time per mile will be pretty important.

whaqt worked for me is walk for 1 minute then run for the next minute for 10 minutes. and increase the time by 2 or 3 minutes each time you go on the treadmil. test out how long you can run for at once, then after a week of doing this test it out again, and you will be able to run for much much longer. I used this method to prepare for my mile and a half for a physical test, and it worked great

Nope. Revisitng some options with the military and some other stuff. Still in the initial process at the moment so I have some time.
