I'm having some serious "red face" flushing while on cycle. I've read that giving blood will help... Any suggestions?

Being down here in Texas during the summer heat isn't helping either, but I've had several people ask me why my face is so red.

I'm in the middle of week 10 of a 12 week cycle...

Facial flushing is normal and harmless.
it happens for many different reasons. ..one being hormonal changes.
Ive been to the dr about it before and he said dont worry bout it. Itll come and go

Is this happening randomly or when you're doing some kinda strenuous activity, like training.

Have you checked BP lately? Could be coming from that. If RBC and hematocrit is high, it could be doing it too, in which giving blood would certainly help

I check my bp daily... It's usually around 130/85...

I plan to start giving blood after reading your post a while back about it... I'm just waiting for them to come to my work site... They usually send a blood bus a few times a year for people to donate blood.

My face, neck and chest gets red and I don't have high blood pressure. It is when I need to get rid of a pint of blood!!! When I go to long it starts to feel like pleurisy when I take a deep breath. That's when it's bad. Get rid of some blood and do it quick!

I get flush like this sometimes too. I've been told to check my BP. I check it every morning and it is always super low.

I've never been able to quite pin point why it happens but it comes and goes.

One of the reasons I always recommend regular blood donations for those that cycle. It's extremely important to keep your RBC and hematocrit from getting too high. The last thing you want is for your blood to start thickening which does happen over time with AAS use. That is what exponentially increases your risk of heart attack and stroke. It can even go up quite a bit just in one cycle, especially with compounds like EQ. For those that are on TRT and cruise, it also will rise with test levels that keep you at the high upper normal range or higher.

I religiously go every 8 weeks to give a pint of blood, and it does wonders for blood work. Besides that you are saving lives. It's a win win for everyone. I always feel like a million bucks after donating, and usually the next day have some of the best workouts.
