Questions I heard on a 24wk cycle.. crazy or ok..

Ok so I'm getting close to being off my cycle I'm about 2 weeks out before my last pin waiting 2 weeks then starting pct.. I'm on a test c only cycle 12 wks total.. so started talking to this guy bout it coming to a end well he said why are you coming off at 12wks just finish your cycle.. I said my cycle will be done it'd 12wks he said that I don't need to be running 12wks only it needs to be 24wk so your gains will be locked in instead of bouncing on and off 12wk cycles that get you no where because your going to lose gains of course after 12 wks of bloat and water.. so he suggested for you to keep more gains and not just be full of water and bloat in just 12wks then come off to stay on for 24wks to lock them in... I did not argue with him just was saying ok to all this.. he said he also does 10wk test cycle then does 3wks of property blend then go back to test for 24wks to prevent bouncing back and forth on and off cycles getting you no where.. so there it is I wanna see what u guys think of this or whay thanks!!
 
No one will recommend 24 weeks for your first cycle. Maybe after years of cycling but no way in hell is that a good idea for your first cycle. You haven't even pct for the first time you know it is possible for pct to fail right?

If your diet and training is good then your cycle just won't be all bloat. Plenty of guys will tell you they kept plenty of gains after there first cycle. I think 12-15 weeks is okay, so if you wanted to go 2-3 weeks longer then no problem. But 24 weeks is really pushing it in the wrong direction. Better safe then sorry.

I completely agree I just told him I've never heard of anyone running a 24wk cycle especially with diff compounds told him I don't think that's healthy.. but I'm not an asshole so I pretend to listen lol
 
I definitely wouldn't take "THAT GUY'S" advice. In my honest opinion 20 weeks is plenty, buts that's even after running a few cycles. Then you factor in running 20 weeks then having to take 20 weeks off and that's basically your whole year

Its pretty scary to hear there are unqualified people out there giving others this type of advise. Ask him if he has life insurance? If not he may want to start looking into getting one. Just saying.....
 
Bad advice. Guy has no idea what hes talking about. No such thing as "locked in" gains. What gains you keep is dependent on your pct, your upkeep of training and nutrition post cycle, etc.

Thanks guys.. he's been in it longer then I have and didn't wanna bust his bubble but I've enough research and been apart of this long enough to know what he said is bs... I told him I don't think that's healthy.. I will for sure stick to my original plan just want to hear what's u guys thought
