question on clenbuterol

A friend of mine started a clenbuterol cycle at 50 mcg a day and his second day in was uncontrollably tired and falling asleep. My first thought was that the clen is counterfeit but it comes from a reliable source that ive grown comfortable with and trust 100%. That being said... has anyone ever had or heard of others having this side? Is there a way to combat it. I have no experience with clen other than that which I have researched, and id love to get a little knowledge from the experienced guys here.

Also i read that supplementing with benadryl while on clen (obviously the benadryl at night) helps to prevent the body from building an immunity to it. Is this so??? If it is, how does this work?

All stimulants make me very tired. Not sure if that is normal but that is my experience. This includes Clen

Thanks. I assumed, as with most everything else, that it would depend on body composition and any number of factors that might contribute to an individuals reaction. Similar to the way hyperactive kids are calmed by taking adderall and those who do not have adhd/add are wired beyond control.

Like I said im just inexperienced with it and dont plan to gain any experience with it because of its very nature and hepatoxicity. That being said, id love to hear everyones experience and opinion/knowledge regarding clenbuterol.
 
I used clen a couple times years ago and my experience was...

Elevated body temp
Fat loss
Increased strength
Intense workouts
Heart palpitations
Shaky hands
Insomnia

I don't plan on using clen again... I don't think the benefits outweigh the side effects and risks
 
Clen can make you feel like complete shit and lethargic. That can be normal. There can also be a crash when it wears off. Its very unhealthy to run and I don't advise its use. There are better safer alternatives like GW

Benadryl can help the beta receptors from down regulating to keep Clen effective, but you still need to cycle it at 2 weeks on 2 weeks off regardless. Like I said though, I wouldn't personally use it at all.

This is just the start of it brother... this is where you need to get out the risk/reward personal assessment and decide for yourself if the risk associated with clen is worth the reward... i am hard pressed to find any circumstance or scenario where it is worth it in any way... its not as though there are not far safer and better alternatives... also keep in mind that the results are very hard to sustain with it as well... its a highly damaging quick and temporary fix... unless you have a serious competition, and even then i question it, then i would stay away from it... there are far better, safer and more effective options for you

+1, I don't think the pro's even use clen. I don't want to mess with it seeing the heart issues it can produce. Tell your boy to come to the forum and we can help him in better ways.

More and more pros are backing off of it... One thing about clen that others fail to realize is that it can actually cause weight gain after discontinuing use... I have really pointed a lot of guys in the direction of SARMS and i have countless thank you letters, appreciation for saving them from so much shit they were dealing with on clen etc... There are far better, safer and more effective alternatives with sustainability which is key...
 
I've used clen before dosing 40-80mcg for 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Usually I'm pretty good with stimulants and I actually like the way clen makes me feel until about mid day. When it starts to wear off I get extremeley sleepy and sometimes it will persist until the next day. I will wake up and have breakfast but an hour later feel as if I need to go back to bed. Not a good feeling. I'd rather take some slower fat loss than feel tired and unmotivated mid day.
