I'm not talking about running it or saying it's a good idea either way. I was just curious as to why he is saying it's a pathetic shitty steroid when his videos say differently is all.
I do not know what vids say, but here is what pisses me off about this shit. It does nothing. Then they touted it as being non liver toxic. This was hyped by Pfizer who said it is 17 methylated, not 17 alpa like the other orals. Therefore it was not toxic to the liver. Then Pfizer ran a study using 100mg per day and found that not one guy had elevated liver enzymes.
So great.. pfizer said this was a new and strong oral. We stacked it with other things like test and deca, and thought it was doing something. Then we started doing just test and deca and got the same results. How in the world can you get anything from a weak steroid when you are taking 2 stronger ones? So after some years pass big pharm is thinking about other orals that are not liver toxic, so suddenly after many years they do liver studies again...this independent studies, and then find that in every single study EVERYONE had elevated liver enzymes. Somebody either goofed or lied at Pfizer. Also even pfizer did not recommened to use anavar alone.
Why did we like anavar? Because we were told how great it was, and didn't hurt the liver...also it does not aromatize or convert to DHT.Plus it only has an 8 hour half life.
Then another study came out and said anavar was superior to deca and test on ab fat in men. GREAT HUH? Not to be duped again there came several other studies to disprove the first study. ZERO for two Pfizer!!!!!!
So what does anavar do? It is great for cutting...no that got disproved too.So then what does it do? It does work well for women. For men we get a pinched liver and no returns.
Also none of us ,including the big pharm chemists are infallible like the pope. We ,over time, change opins as we use it more and read up on it more. Remember big pharm and docs made it explicitly clear all the way into the 90's that test cyp does nothing for muscle building. They also have changed their minds...why because the BB kept proving them WRONG.
Is Jake saying that the big pharm chemists and docs make big time mistakes and often wrong? Yes! Look at how far we have come...docs actually will prescribe test for a man.
So if we used to like var and have changed our minds then it is by self exploring.You may notice that some folks like one thing but hate another. That is people. I am sure there are still folks who swear by Var. If so have at it.
