Prolactin and pituitary tumor

Hi,
I came across your video while I was looking for informative videos about prolactin. I am a 26yr old female with discharge from both breast about a few months. I assumed it was due to stress because I was very stressed at the time.

I went to the dr and my prolactin levels and thyroid hormones as well as tsh was all fine. But I am still getting discharge only when I squeeze my breast. The dr suggest I see a endocrinologist and get an MRI done.

I am very worried to get the MRI done. I know the pituitary tumor can be benign but I am worried if this is really what it can be.

Can I still get a pituitary tumor even if my hormone levels are normal? I had sonogram of my breast and it's fine.

you can certainly still have a tumor and have normal levels. i did. there are many different types of tumors and depending on location it can have different effects. nothing you can do but get the mri done. i wouldn't be too worried, they are much more common than people realize, and the sooner you know the issue the sooner you can begin correcting it. good luck.

This is something nobody here is really going to be able to help, you with. You need to get that MRI and see your endocrinologist to see exactly what you have going on. Everything else is going to be speculation which accomplishes nothing. You need professional medical advice and treatment

im really sorry for your situation, i truly am but im not understanding why you came to me for this? i would have no idea on this and i would NEVER want liability with something like this... you need to do exactly what your doctor is recommending... im sorry i can't be more help but this is far from what i do...
